Im saying with this poor reception I wouldn't count on many artists anyway. Late additions have been good in the past like De La Soul and Thao and the Get Down Stay Down. That said this year is pretty uncharacteristic from past years, and it's possible that they don't add people seeing as they have to know by now that the festival isn't going to sell well. There will be add ons. The only question is the size of the add ons. The lineup is just flat out not full yet. There are ALWAYS some add ons. I wish I shared your optimism. I'm leaning towards the discussion from earlier which mentioned the posibility of losing a stage, rather than gaining bands.

I've been reading all the board posts about how disorganized Pemberton is. I have no first hand info on this but they did just make a post on FB and can I just say that their social media game has always been on point. They are literally answering everyone's posts. That is one area Sasquatch has always been weak in. Also, the extreme dislike for the Sasquatch lineup is crossing over to Peberton's post. I am so worried for our Festival :-(

The funny thing is, it seems like we all we saw 21 pilots as the first name, stopped the video in anger, and decided we weren't going. Insert LCD. We would have saw LCD as the first name, stopped the video in a freak out, and decided to buy tickets ASAP. I see it like this- It's Thanksgiving dinner and all the adults are at the table and there's a few yummy side dishes: stuffing, mash potatoes, gravy, cranberry sauce, veggies... well I like all those things. But then out comes the highly anticipated main course. Will it be a delicious turkey? Ham? Roast? Tofurky even? Nope. Dad brings out a tray of Oreo cookies. And all the kids coming running. They crowd around the table, eating all the Oreo cookies as there Thanksgiving main course. And the adults are eating there side dishes, which are ok, but feel they left out, disappointed, this was very unexpected. To top it off, there's not enough side dishes to enjoy. And now there's just a crowd of kids singing 21 p1Lot songs at, what use to be, a nice dinner table. Sasquatch 2017. So in my humble opinion, 1 band, the center piece of it all, can totally dictate the audience in which it commands. But hey, to put a positive spin on it, all your friends are at the table with you and you do really enjoy those side dishes. And it's the weekend so enjoy it!

"Imagine if the Teen Choice Awards booked Robert Plant and the Cure as their headliners, that's how I feel about 21 Pøøp Emøjis at Sasquatch" 😂😂😂 This sums it up perfectly for me. Haha, right?! I asked my kid if I could use it as an FB status, but chickened out because I didn't want to hurt Zack's feelings

Jokes I've heard today at my house:
"Hey Pops, how many pilots does it take to bring down a Sasquatch..."
"Imagine if the Teen Choice Awards booked Robert Plant and the Cure as their headliners, that's how I feel about 21 pilots at Sasquatch" 😂😂😂
I love my kids.

If you put Twenty One Pøøp Emøjis on line two of the lineup and add a new headliner, how differently would you all view this lineup, keeping in mind the first name on the lineup video would be Frank or that other new headliner in this hypothetical scenario? Still not great, but I feel like the negative reaction would've been cut in half. Could be wrong though. Call me crazy, but I was actually pleasantly surprised with their 2015 show. Music aside, I think their stage presence and crowd interaction is actually fairly good. That being said, I FULLY agree that having them as the top-billed artist on the lineup is quite a letdown, regardless of where they may fall on other festival lineups this summer. Keep in mind it's not just the band as the headliner that's an issue. It is also the fact that they haven't earned the right (imo) to be in the class of Jack White, Robert Plant, Beck, The Postal Service, The Cure( no matter how small the crowd), Foo Dr. Garbanzohters... Also, for a lot of us, one of the issues is the culture that a band like this brings with it and how it changes the festival vibe from a "music lovers" festival, to a "yay my babysitters not watching, I can do whatever I want" festival

That's because YOU are their dad and Sasquatch is in their roots! I work in a High School and the kids are abso-fucking-lutely obsessed with 21 Pøøp Emøjis. They are stoked about this lineup :-( All the feels right now. Fbelt sandered, happy for my boys, sad for others... *sigh* I'll miss Sasquatch this year. HAHAHAHA! I forgot about fbelt sandered! Ya got me haha.

My boys are now 14 and 17yrs old. They were quicker to say "what is going on with Sasquatch?!" than I was. They both instantly agreed they did not want to attend. Which is actually good because A) fuck this lineup B) this is the one year it would have been very hard to make it happen, financially. But man, Sasquatch has formed a bond between us that we may never have found. I'll miss it. We'll miss it. That's because YOU are their dad and Sasquatch is in their roots! Slept 4 sad, pathetic hours. Still super sad. Regarding the information troll or no troll debate, a couple theories: 1) He was an insider who got caught and fired for leaking last year and now he is trying to sabotage. 2) Paul Allen or someone from Pemberton paid him to shit on us. 3) He got cocky after last year and used a less reliable method but still presented the info as facts. Regarding us being old and Squatch pandering to the high school demographic: I started going to Sasquatch when I was 15 and I am 30 now, so I don't know if I can really be mad at Snacks for appealing to the kids. Plus aren't his kids like 15 and 18 or something? I'm sure that has some influence. I'm still sad as hell, though. It dolphinately feels like it isn't for us anymore and it's causing me a bit of an existential crisis. Sasquatch is home. I had 13 beautiful, life-altering, magical Sasquatches and I will forever be grateful for that but I'm also feeling pretty lost. My boys are now 14 and 17yrs old. They were quicker to say "what is going on with Sasquatch?!" than I was. They both instantly agreed they did not want to attend. I don't necessarily want big, I just want good. I'd much rather have a smaller and better headliners than chancey chancey chancey chance or TOP and save that money towards the undercards. Here's some near-perfect lineups. 2013 blew my mind! Agreed! 2013 was the complete package. The Postal Service, Sigur Ros, Primus, Killer Mike, Grimes, DEATH GRIPS(!), Elvis Costello, Earl Sweatshirt, Red Fang, Danny Brown, Youth Lagoon... jebus I could go on forever. This here, this is Sasquatch. I don't think I've ever seen a better festival lineup.

I was one of the lucky ones who got to see a slimmed-down version of Frightened Rabbit last year.
