Did I miss when Alabama Shakes became festival headliner material? I guess so ...
Honestly, much more taken aback by the possibility of them headlining, rather than Disclosure, who recently played sold out shows at MSG and Memorial Stadium in LA.

Phoenix just started updating their Facebook page in the last couple hours. They could fit in nicely as a headliner ...

As much as I want to believe in an LCD headlining slot at the Gorge, has Sasquatch ever shared a headliner with Coachella? (besides Outkast, who played basically every festival imaginable ...) Bjork headlined both in 2007, for one. If you take away the same year requirement, there have been several acts that headlined both festivals (Jack White, Foo Fighters, Beastie Boys...). I think it's definitely possible. Especially considering the report that they're playing "several major festivals", I think the LCD reunion has more in common with the last Outkast tour than those other acts. In contrast to the Outkast reunion, I feel like every festival lineup that has come out without them in it increases the probability that they will be at Sasquatch. I too think it's possible, I'm just trying to manage my own expectations ... Traditionally, acts in the top 3 for festivals like Coachella, Bonnaroo, Lolla, etc. have been just outside of Sasquatch's reach. I truly hope LCD proves the exception to the rule, I'm just not holding my breath.

Or The Jesus and Mary Chain. Austin Psych Fest's lineup has them officially billed as "The Jesus and Mary Chain performing Psychocandy". I say "Yes, please," Seconded.

Kitty, Daisy, & Lewis are touring North America in early April but completely skip the PNW ... That seems rampant enough to me.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that I actually really enjoyed Foo Fighters' headlining set in 2011 ... Was it jaw-dropping like Massive Attack in 2010 or Sigur Ros in 2013? Clearly not. But it was a damn good time and a high-energy start to the weekend.
Wouldn't hate it if they came back.

DTHB's lineup has zero influence on Sasquatch. Yeah, over the past 5 years, there has always been at least one artist who has played Sasquatch after playing DTHB the previous December: Foals (2014), The Lumineers (2013), Mumford & Sons (2012), Grouplove (2012), Sleigh Bells (2011), and Vampire Weekend (2010). Fair enough. Out of those, I only caught The Lumineers and Mumford, and they seemed more the exception than the rule. Honestly, it's great news for me, because I would love to see TVOTR show up on the bill. They put on a fantastic set at Pemberton this summer.

TVOTR and Weezer look pretty unlikely now that the DTHB lineup is out.

What's a guy gotta do to get some My Morning Jacket on the bill?

I'd be pretty surprised if the "tour" behind this album consisted of anything more than a few DJ sets after Radiohead wraps up their studio time.

APHEX TWIN LATE NIGHT SET I was just thinking about this today as well. I don't even know if Mr. Richard D James plays shows any more, but if he does, he would make one hell of a headliner for the dance tent. He does still play shows, but very occasionally ... I doubt Snacks would shell out that kinda money for a dance tent headliner or a late night set, and he probably wouldn't fit as a headliner. Wouldn't be surprised to see him play some bigger festivals, though. Coachella, Primavera, Glasto, etc. BUT STILL, RAMPANT SPECULATION = APHEX TWIN CONFIRMED.

Yeah, I'm thinking Foo Fighters almost certainly headline a night. A Foo/Pearl Jam combo on the top line would be pretty great, but probably out of the cards for Sasquatch's budget.

St Vincent, Modest Mouse, Outkast, and Frank Ocean all blew my mind. This. 1000% this. Probably the best 4 act stretch I've ever seen at a music festival.

Wow, that's a huge buzzkill. How do you figure they're going to enforce that?
