Unless we get all of the random bottom few line bands from Big Guava, we will probably be getting the Pixies or the Strokes.
Is it safe to assume that if we're getting Milky Chance, we're also getting their opening act FMLYBND? (whatever the hell that is)

I really hope we can count Hozier out. He played last year and has a date in Seattle in February
EDIT: We totally can. He's in Europe during the festival

Would that imply that Ty Segall will be at Sasquatch this year?
Also, thanks for all the hard work you guys put into the proboards, I've been trolling them for the last 2 years but finally worked up the courage to create an account.
It's usually the case that launch party artists also play the festival. I love Ty and Tacocat so let's hope that's the case this year! Welcome! Tends to be a little more noob-friendly around here than it used to be.

Their show this past July was pretty meh, including the mini freak out the lead singer/guitarist had. They need some kind of stage presence, like... anything at all. That's too bad... My friend was at the Ottawa Bluesfest show where the Mark Kozelek issue happened and he said that the band sounded great. Didn't mention anything about the stage presence so hopefully that's something they improve on.

War on drugs playing crystal ballroom may 21. Pretty much confirms them. This is awesome. I've heard they put on a good show

Reddit is trying to figure out how Pea got the overlap numbers. (I trust him, but so am I!) Reddit as a whole is pretty shitty. Reddit sasquatch also shitty. Ever notice how they post about seeing the shit that the boarders made happen? I'm also pretty sure that at least 60% of posts have to do with Bassnectar.

Okay so I was doing some Twitter searches about Sasquatch to see what people had been saying and I stumbled across this interaction:
Interesting.
EDIT: Tweets don't show up on mobile so here it is:
@wild_wingman: @aldoyletweets any chance Hot Chip are playing Sasquatch festival this year? Never seen the band and would love to! @aldoyletweets: @wild_wingman who knows? Its definitely possible.

I'd like to present Rustie as likely for a few reasons:
a. He had a Seattle show scheduled for November that he cancelled. b. When he rescheduled his tour (happening now), he didn't include a Seattle date, but did include a Portland one. c. He is playing both Governor's Ball and Bonnaroo d. He appears to have nothing scheduled for Sasquatch weekend.

Jan. 25 - Death From Above 1979 w/ Metz & PS I Love You @ MacEwan Hall Jan. 30 - SOLIDS @ The Palomino Feb. 12 - Rich Homie Quan @ Marquee Feb. 26 - Viet Cong @ Commonwealth April 16 - Caribou @ Flames Central
Also if they don't play Sasquatch (and I'm sure they won't), then I'm going to see Neutral Milk Hotel in Missoula in June before I head overseas for a month.

I hope that Bjork headlines. Strokes at Shaky Knees, any chance? Small chance of the Strokes I'd say. Depends if they add any Europe dates before Primavera

Before Bonnaroo announced Kendrick Lamar I would have said a headlining slot for him would have been an outside chance. I think it's a good possibility. Was very popular at Pemberton last year. Yeah, crowd was packed. Too bad his set got cut short.

I could see something like:
Kendrick Lamar Deadmau5 Björk My Morning Jacket
as headliners,and:
Run the Jewels Chromeo Interpol The Decemberists
As subheadliners.

I would love Mastodon. I think it would definitely work well.
Wondering if the Strokes might make it. Not many festivals have them so far except Shaky Knees and Primavera.
