So I hastily booked a motel 6 for SanFrancisco because everything decent was super expensive....just arrived and it is probably the greasiest neighbourhood I have personally ever been in. The guy at the front desk recommended we don't head out until daylight hours. Yikes!
Yeah, It seems soo top heavy. There's very little smallish acts...but that's how the original was. If I can manage to buy tickets while I'm down here in the states I will be going. Works out perfectly with my days off as well. Stoked!
I found out Friday that I have torn my L5S1 in half. I have had two prior surgeries on the same disc. Its pinching my spinal cord when I bend just right causing me to randomly fall. I am not allowed to walk any more. So yeah. That's making plans of sasquatch fun. Last year I was recovering from surgery and could barely function and managed to pass a kidney stone driving to Sasquatch. I will make it. If I have to crawl.
I don't want to be "that guy," but back injuries are something you want to ensure you rehab very carefully and properly. If you don't, that shit will bother you for the rest of your life. You may want to consider taking a pass this year.
I will second this. There will be other Sasquatch's , there will not be new spinal cords. As Shax alluded to, once your back is fucked and you don't treat it right, it is right fucked for life.
Went to play my Daft Punk - Homework LP, and the thing skips like crazy. I went and started looking at reviews and a lot of people say the same thing. Bad pressing or something. Love this album too. Have to send it back.
That is the worst. It's happened to me a few times recently. So disappointing, I always start by thinking it's my system play three records perfectly and determine it was the new one that is warped somehow. Lame.
