And on the topic of Little Dragon, I've never listened them before but I stumbled into their 2012 set in a corn chip fueled state and it was one of my favorite sets of the weekend. Don't know why I still haven't listened to them more. What's a good album to start with?
If you liked what you heard in 2012 go with Ritual Union.
But the newest, Nabuma Rubberband, is fantastic as well, one of my very favorites from last year.

Speaking of super talented female vocalists, there's tons of em on the lineup this year. I believe there was some criticism about the lack of female artists at Sasquatch's before the lineup came out, so I was happy to see so many on there but then again they dropped the ball on the alpha female. Ugh, it still hurts.

I felt bad for sitting on a ticket to the line-up party but I don't feel bad anymore. I was legitimately concerned about being so sad in public if Bjorky wasn't on there, think I made the right call to watch from the comforts of home. BENAROYA PLEEEEASE!!!
I am stoked about these though: Little Dragon Modest Mouse St. Vincent Robert Plant Kendrick Lamar The War On Drugs James Blake Doug Benson Father John Misty Jenny Lewis
And there's a handful I'm curious about. Here's to hoping it's a grower, not a show-er.
