And why I have never thought of corn chips, beans and guac is beyond me. Many thanks for the enlightenment, corn chippy board member. If this is in reference to my Sasquatch packing list, you're gonna be in for one hell of a surprise if you come 'round my campsite lookin' to snack on some corn chips! Heh. That would have been a good story. Maybe? I shall stick to BYOCC.

The ones in the venue itself do not change as they are run by Live Nation directly, but they've had some different vendors in the campground over the last few years. Excellent. As we become more experienced Sasquatchers...sasgoers...erm, attendees, we have resorted to making scrumptious breakfast items and surviving off of rice and beans (lots of fresh guac!) and having a nibble at the venue instead of planning additional meals. The first time we went, there were a few vendors in District 9 that had deliciously smelling foodstuffs being sold, but I never tried anything. The last time we were shipped up the hill (directly into artist and vendor camping in err, but I digress) when we arrived and were camping right by the entrance, so no pop up foodie places. And why I have never thought of corn chips, beans and guac is beyond me. Many thanks for the enlightenment, corn chippy board member.

Do food vendors change much at the Gorge? Or is it the same ones each year?

Excited! Its just the two of us again this year. Sadly, the fun Americans we befriended last year while waiting in line for our wristbands and sharing our guacamole couldn't attend this year's fest. Chin up, though, I hear there are plenty of other fun Americans, right? Right?! Can't wait, guys!

I am saddened that I missed out on this opportunity to win yet another hockey pool, surprising all participants, but never bragging. Ish.

I had one! Well, I think I did. Ever since my first Sasquatch, when I get reeeeally tired and have a deep sleep, I have the dream where I am going from honeybucket to honeybucket and they all show green/not occupied, but when I open them, there are HORRIBLE things inside. You know that Skittles commercial where the guy opens a little window and Skittles come pouring out and he is delighted?
Its like that, but with the worst surprises, ever. Its no good!

He was mostly nice! When I expressed interest in the tickets, it was all good, and then after some fb banter he requested to add me, but then I didn't add him (privacy, yo), and suddenly he didn't want to sell me the tickets anymore. I was sad, but now I am not.

Despite your rage, I think the entire outcome was a win. (Your buddy got you your tickets, right?)

We drive, but its actually really fun. Especially when you have awesome/awful playlists and know lots of the lyrics, and bring trail mix. You're going to have such a good time!

Merci! I appreciate the help! Looks like I won't have to worry about buying secondhand since a big hairy Sasquatch angel alerted me to the release of tickets on Livenation, and guess who managed to get two? This girl! Hooray!

Thanks for the advice. What's the best way to procure tickets if not from the promoter itself? I mean, how does one scam proof themselves? Signed, Most Gullible Girl, Ever.

So tickets went super fast.
I know everyone is really angry towards scalpers, because they're being total jerks and stuff.
Yesterday, I allllllmost purchased a ticket off of a scalper that inflated his prices only modestly, but still about $50ish extra on each ticket.
Then I was smacked with a giant tidal wave of shame. If I buy this ticket, more and more scalpers will continue to try to make a quick chunk of change off of poor schmucks like me. Not okay.
In the meantime, here I sit, making distracted threads lamenting my ticketlessness. I read in another thread that ticket prices will drop closer to the date. I am pretty fresh to the Sasquatch ways - I have only been once, in 2012 - and tickets hung around for awhile and got really, really cheap.
So I ask you pros, at which point should I be prepared to buy? What is the most secure method of acquiring the tickets (wait for wristbands?)? Is there even a pattern to this madness?
ps: I will likely post here daily with my blurbs of impatient, anxious moanings.
pps: Thanks very much. 8)

You guys! That was so much fun!
This was my first Sasquatch and I loved it! I never met any boarders but we made great friends from Vancouver and Seattle. What a crazy reality Sasquatch is. One of my neighbours was Mustang Sal with his open trunk and thumping subwoofers, and even he became endearing after a while. ;D
Yeah, my body hurts and I need ten million naps, but...I cannot wait until next year.
