Do any of you happened to have a good hi-res photo showing the classic shot of the Sasquatch stage and gorge backdrop? Something that looks like this: media.avclub.com/images/369/369352/16x9/627.jpg?1242If you have something like that, and wouldn't mind sending it my way, it would be much appreciated! I am looking for the original file, not a smaller web upload. Thanks!

At the time of that show, those were literally my least favorite and favorite shows ever back to back.
I think that Mars Volta show still holds up as the worst show I've ever seen in my life amd will probably stop me from ever listening to one of their songs again if I can help it, and generally I'm pretty open minded.

I know I'm a bit late to the party on the new Beach House album, but that shit is up in my brain on repeat.

Sasquatch borders were at the Sigur Ros show in Seattle? Would have been more on the lookout had I known... have still yet to see the elusive species known as the borders in person.

Did anybody else almost have a heart attack when Simon Gagne tripped and nearly dropped the cup? Most intense moment of the 2012 playoffs imo. Willie first to hold the cup: respect. Gagne second to hold the cup: wut? Back of the line!

I love him, and I tend to always give him the benefit of the doubt. I've defended him a couple times to friends who said that his entire act is just a hamster ball gimmick with no substance.
That said, there's no denying he's getting harder and harder to defend.

I saw them at Key Arena and it was awesome. I was gunna say 'I dunno if Muse would work at an outdoor venue', then I remembered Live From Wembley and realized I was an idiot.

Beirut's drummer made the funniest face. I loved that guy Totally forgot about that until now! Good call. Scenic World is my jam - combined with an actual sunset was just beautiful. Never ceases to amaze me how people can come out of the same show with such polarized opinions. I'm trying to get better at not raining on someones parade. I had two friends who went to Nero over Beck and I'm happy to say thay I was able to refrain from telling them what a poor choice I thought they had made. One of my other friends however wasn't so kind. After finding out they had missed Beck his first instinc was to say: "Talk about poor life choices" followed by awkward silence.

Although I didn't actively arrange to meet any of you, I did keep my eyes open in case I saw someone I would recognize (I wasn't far away from the Pretty lights laugh zone in Pea's map). Next year I will make it a goal to meet at least 1 boarder at the festival.

I think it's amazing how much being in the pit VS up on the hill can change a performance in your eyes.
Sat way up top for Feist and thought she was painfully boring and at least 5x worse that the first time I saw her, yet I come here to see she was in the top 5 of so many boarders. I think her set must just not have been loud enough to carry that far and I do remember the bass from the dance tent conflicting from where I was sitting.

OH SHIT. I forgot to list Girl Talk. That was a fucking party. EDITED POST FOLLOWS: GUITARSQUATCH!!!!! 1. St. Vincent - I love her. We are getting married. The end. 2. Jack White - HE WAS SHREDDING SO HARD HE WAS BLEEDING ON HIS GUITAR 3. Tenacious D - I have waited a really long time to see them play and they blew it out of the water. Fantastic set. 4. Beck - This was out of control. That guy was out of his mind high and sounded amazing. Great set and great to have the full band from Sea Change with him. 5. Girl Talk - This was an incredibly fun party and I didn't ever want it to end. 5. Beirut - Perfect sunset with the beautiful sounds of Beruit. Those are not necessarily in order, the first four are tied. I saw some fucking amazing music this weekend. I was underwhelmed with Pretty Lights but really enjoyed being there with my Sasquatch people and partying. I am still not much into Feed Me (although it is more interesting than some EDM and we got some Robyn) but being there with that huge group of us and knowing that I helped spread all those glowsticks around was an unforgettable moment. Thank you sincerely to all of you. Good to see someone was at the same festival as me. I try to say 'to each their own' as much as possible, but if you don't have Girl Talk or Jack White in your top 5 I can only assume that you weren't at those shows.

Headliners delivered more than any other Sasq I've been to. Also this list matches my top most excited for acts more than any other Sasq I've been to. Top 4 are pretty much interchangeable right now.
1. Girl Talk - His '09 show was one of the best I've ever seen. This one was even better.
2. Jack White - Possibly the best encore ever. He just delivered and more, there is no other way to put it.
3. Beck - Possibly the second best encore ever. The first half of this show I was thinking: 'ok this is going to be considerably lower energy than either of the previous two closers but at least his setlist is awesome'. By the end I was thinking it might have been the greatest show of all time.
4. Bon Iver - Stopped in for a bit of James Murphy and he sounded great then headed down to the mainstage. By the end of Perth it was obvious we were all in for a treat. The festival was so good this year that my 4the best show of the festival is right up there with the best I've ever seen. So many top 5 lists that have either James Murphy or Bon Iver near the top of their lists, so I don't think you could have gone wrong either way. Took some droogs in prep for Feed Me, but they hit partway through Bon Iver. Calgary is still ringing in my ears and For Emma almost made me tear up.
5. Beirut - Played Scenic World during the sunset which is pretty much all I could have asked for. The quality of music was never in doubt.
HM to the D for being epic and hilarious, to The Joy Formidable for rocking the f*ck out, and also to Feed Me for being part of one of the best nights of my life and a better glowpocalypse and far better show that Pretty Lights in every possible way.
Not trying to bring people down who have The Roots in their list, but that was one of the more disappointing shows of the weekend for me. That and the lack of schedules we really the only bad things I can think of about this years festival. No doubt the best one I've been to.

Scratch that, Coho doesn't leave that early right now. Would be 7am ferry to Tsawwassen.

I've had plenty of experience driving down to Sasquatch, but not since they added the Friday night show. Need to be settled and into the grounds before 6 pm Friday to see they shows I want.
Does anyone from the island have experience trying to make it in time leaving Friday morning. Earliest Coho Ferry is 630 AM. Ideally we would stop for groceries and set up our tent before heading in, so it looks like we would be cutting it close.
Do we need to leave Thursday night? Anyone tried?

Yeah dude like 40% of your posts say that. For some reason this made me actually laugh out loud by myself. I'm still not sure why. If I see any of the recognizable props mentioned in this thread, I will come introduce myself. So stoked.

Rusty, I think I would just be stubborn at this point to not admit that I was wrong about LA. Made STL look silly. Good call by you.
I'm standing by my opinion that this is one of the more boring playoffs in recent history, however.

I have $5 on both the Devils and Kings. Everything is going fantastically so far. Don't spend it all in one place!
