Spam, eggs, bacon and spam. "I told you! I don't like spam!" Greatest MP quote ever. For horned grandma. I do admire a well crafted grocery list. And an even more well-crafted fruity vodkaey fruitcup snacks. Thks fur the idears folks.

I'd take your word for it, I'm sure he is. Maybe he'll be at one of the smaller stages. I could imagine a daytime slot.

Singer songwriter. Saw him open for Shearwater a few years back in Lawrence, KS. Played to a pretty packed house purely accoustic no amp no mic just brought it. Hey nice Chud, at the Jackpot, right? Missed the larryville show and too bad, Shearwater has a really cool style. It's not hard to fill up that place and they system can sound pretty good depending on who's working sound. Damien Jurado reminds me of Jose Gonzalez crossed with James Taylor. A bit coffee shoppish in style, though, if not coma-inducing. Not my bag.

So what's up with this Portlandia appearance? Will Fred and Carrie be a stage show slash side act slash quote unquote band? Looks kinda entertaining in a bird on things way. For a few laughs. No birds. No things. Poop. Yup. so... kind of entertaining in a just... poop sorta way. Hmmm pure comedy. That'll keep the kids flocking to the stage.

I have their stuff all the time. Two Hearted in particular is a great beer. Hopslam only comes out once a year with a limited run so they charge an arm and a leg for it. I agree cbats, Hopslam is the ish. Two Hearts is a close second, IMO.

OK, sooooorry if this has been brought up/discussed/dismissed before but visting Portland for the FIRST time this year before/after Samsquanch and must, must visit a brewery. I'm a huge IPA fan. Rogue and Bridgeport are wonderful, but anything off the beaten path recomendations this season? Or should I just go crazy at Apex? Just to chime in to the discussion, I've had a lot of really beautiful IPAs from Colorado, my favorite mainstream there has to be Avery.
