I didn't even get into (unnecessary) parenthetical asides there, so I'd still call it a good day

Welcome. Oh and I like your user name....very clever. Campout festivals are easy if you just don't stress it too much. Bring the essentials like many layers of clothes, tent, food with lots of protein, lots of water, etc. Remember, you will be camping with thousands of awesome people so if you forget or run out of something you have many friends to help you out. Lots of people stress out too much about the rules and regulations and realize that when they get there the stress was all for not. Just have fun, be safe, be smart. Thanks. I tend to be an over-planner, so this is going to be an exercise in letting go/loose and just having fun as much as anything else. Also, Raffi was my first concert too. Followed by Sharon, Lois, and Bram. Most epic was probably Tom Waits with the Kronos Quartet at Bridge School.

The lineup this year finally enticed me to buy tickets. And now I've been hanging around here trying to glean all of your knowledge having never been to a campout festival (damn you Treasure Island). Standing on the shoulders of giants and all that. Figured actually registering might be handy.
So for now, thanks.
