I don't think this one has been said for a while but The stokes are recording a new album and Neither Bonnaroo or Coachella has them. I also read this today Meanwhile earlier today, Julian Casablancas revealed The Strokes will play just two shows this summer. Casablancas told NME.COM that those will be the band's only shows before they complete the record, with a September release planned.
"We're doing two with The Strokes and that's it for the summer," he said, adding he would take his solo show on the road again instead. "I'll do other festivals alone, If they'll have me!"www.nme.com/news/the-strokes/49736

wintermoon while you are very correct that re-entry of vehicles that leave the campsite has been explicitly stated as a no every year, all five times i have stayed in the campsite i have seen it be allowed on a very regular basis. I am not encouraging anybody to rely on this, but if they allow it again this year it is worth checking out for a mid weekend beer/ice trip if you don't wanna spend a million dollars at the general store. Our neighbors one year drove their van down to the water somehow to go swimming during the day. Got in and out of the campground no problem!

Why wouldn't we except the same caliber of Wookie Stage next year. Who owns it and why are they dicks?

I don't know if this has been said before on here or not but i was really impressed with the face lift they gave to the Wookie Stage last year.
The location was tremendously better than the field it used to be in, I think it seated more with a better view of the stage from everywhere. The stage screen was also a big improvement as was the new and improved dance/comedy tent in the Wookie Stage's original field.
the only problem i noticed was a slight bleed of the sound into the Yeti stage. A small sacrifice for a drastic improvement in both the Wookie Stage and dance tent.

No, charcoal bbq's have always been "A ok" in the past. i always bring one. comes in handy at night too you can throw a log in there and have a little fire and if you put the grill over it nobody really bothers you about it.

O.K. so i'm real tired of these boards being so slow. i cant wait 2+ more months for everyone's favorite memorial day weekend activity to happen again. So i wanna get some ideas to make this year better. What has made your parties in the past? last year we had a beer pong table under a canopy and hung tarps to cut down on the wind. we always have a beer bong and a regular bong. we've even brought a keg in the past, though keeping it cold proved to be real difficult so now we stick to cases of beer and more cases of liquor. oh yea last year we brought a av converter and a tv so we could play nintendo 64 in the trunk of our car to pass the time. So what made your set up in years past? and feel free to stop by and play some mario kart with us this year!

Sasquatch Lineup! Listen to the Adam Carolla Show on Tuesday, to get the first word on who is playing Sasquatch this year. We can't say anything yet, but there is an Endfest '08 Unplugged band, Endie Winner, and Legendary band which will consist of all original members! (+ more) this is from The End homepage. www.1077theend.com/what time does the Adam Carolla Show start at? one more thing if janes is in fact the reunion than whoever this is calling them "legendary" deserves a communal beating k i'm done, continue with the flaming and deleting

I'm just going to say it. If the assumptions and this end leak are correct, then i am supremely disappointed. NIN and Jane's, Really? who gives a shit. with roo and coachella having such bad lineups i had high hopes a couple of big headliners could have finally given my fav n.w. fest the respect it genuinely deserves. This could have been sasquatch's breakout year! i dont know if i should be mad at organizers for thinking that we all would shit our pants to see sasquatch 2006 again or concerts in 2009 all together. either way i surely am a little sad i have to hope for the gorge to have better shows to see this summer than sasquatch. so go ahead flame this shit or delete it, whatever.
but i have a hunch i'm not alone.
