I also plan outfits specifically for festivals (and everthing else, frankly)! Before I became a super academic, honor roll geek, fighting for social rights, I was going to go to fashion school. So primarily, I have visions/daydreams in my head of certain events or moments and what I'm wearing, then I sketch it, then I try to find pieces in stores that are inline with that sketch - which is not ALWAYS the best, because I can be ahead of the curve on things but I modify as I go along. ANYWAY, you named some good ones. I personally order online from Forever 21 - although I prefer their line Love 21, the clothes are sharper/look more expensive/hold up better and are my style. Ordering online means you don't have to deal with the craziness of the stores. I also ONLY SHOP ON SALE. Unless the item is like literally life or death, have to have, I'm at the sale rack. I also shop here (almost always online):delias.com Cute clothes, nonstop sales. Mostly a house brand but I scored an awesome Steve Madden cape from them! gap.com Classic stuff that's awesome. abercrombie.com I dig a lot of the feminine summerwear and their long lasting winterwear but don't dig the skyrocket prices, low lighting, overwhelming perfume smell and thumping techno. They have sales CONSTANTLY. There is a 50% off sale on right meow as I type this. modcloth.com If you're into that vintage thang - which I am - this is a great place. Go to sale, because vintage/vintage inspired almost always = expensive. Love 21 (http://www.forever21.com/Product/Category.aspx?br=love21&category=love21_main) lulus.com topshop.com alloy.com asos.com etsy.com www.modcloth.com is a good one, too! I love their dresses. <3 'Ello, ladies of Sasquatch! New on this board, just wanted to introduce myself to the girls. I'm Courtney.

Apparently I have a flagrant disregard for reading the first page of the thread. Please forgive me. Name: Phil From: Bend, Oregon Favorite Bands: Animal Collective, Built To Spill, Radiohead, The Flaming Lips, Sigur Ros, MMJ, The Grateful Dead, MF DOOM (as well as Dumile's other projects) All Time Favorite Artist: Noah Lennox (Panda Bear) First Concert Attended: Susan Tedeschi & Taj Mahal Last Concert Attended: Battles @ the Wonder Ballroom in Portland. All time favorite concert: Toss up between Daft Punk @ Wamu Theater, Seattle '07 and Radiohead @ Thunderbird stadium Vancouver, BC '08. All time Favorite Festival: I've unfortunately only been to the 'squatch. Would love to go to coachella some day. Sasquatches attended: '07-'11 Sasquatch Wishlist: Sigur Ros @ sunset -> Radiohead, Panda Bear, Portishead, Daft Punk, Furthur (would make for a nice Monday night headliner), Animal Collective (with the Creators Project), Youth Lagoon, Tomahawk, Tame Impala, Black Dice, Feist, Broken Social Scene, Madvillain, Gonjasufi, Doug Martsch solo set. This list could get really long. Also, did you see Built to Spill is going to be at some new festival in Boise? Called Treefort. Tickets are only $75, and Of Montreal is going to be there, too. Among many others. I might go just because it's pretty close to me and it's cheap. Plus I LOVE Built to Spill and Of Montreal. Welcome fellow Spokanite! Well, I did live there until I was old enough to get far away from there. Thanks! That's how I'm feeling right about now...we just got snowed in for the first time this year and now I gotta go to my mall job. Only in Spokane, would people still go to the mall during a snowstorm. Anyway, back to the point. Thanks for the welcome! Nice to meet everyone. Excited to start posting.

I personally know a lot of the Security Guards/Beverage Enforcement that they send over to the Gorge. Well, the ones from Spokane, at least. They're constantly doing things that are an obvious abuse of "power", if that's what you wanna call it. For example, when they patrol the campgrounds at night, they'll steal the stuff right off of your tables, wake you up from a drunken stupor to confenscate your drugs/other goodies. The same people that are supposed to keep your stuff safe! They're all crackheads. Anyway, back to the point. The above video doesn't shock me one bit, knowing those douchebags. That sucks that this happened to you.

Showers

Guess I'm just a clean freak. Me too, but I sure as hell wouldn't leave early to get a shower. Me being a clean freak only justifies getting up a little earlier, and standing in line for an hour to shower. With a few stages to choose from there is no excuse to leave early. That is the best time to be at the festival. I agree! I love being in there early, with the first couple of bands playing. The atmosphere is really crazy cool, at that point it's the devoted fans in there at the shows and not just the randoms. My Sasquatch shower is a bottle of water. XD

Hey everyone. I'm Courtney, I just joined. I've been lurking CoS for rumors and such, but like you guys, are becoming anxious with their lack of information. So I paid you guys a visit! Well...I guess I'll give a lame introduction. I'm Coe. I'm from Spokane, WA. It's always nice to meet fellow festival-lovers, Sasquatch especially.
