I've heard about venus. It's a nice idea but completely unrealistic. Give it about a thousand years.

I guess I just feel like there are bigger problems than your ability to get to work tomorrow. The protest on the bridge is not random. It's to bring attention to the fact that the steel bridge is overdue for repairs/general maintenance and the city of portland refuses to hire any number of it's unemployed to do it. I think you're confusing a small step in the process for an expression of the overall message. I don't know who you are or where you get your information, but what I've experienced first hand is radically different than what the media has portrayed. Your comments sound like regurgitations of media lies. I'm not a fake poster. I've been to Sasquatch! every year since 2008. I've posted on this board numerous times under another name. Whatever that has to do with anything. You keep thinking this will go away, but this isn't a sad failure in the continued system of revolution. It's an attempt to come together and create a revolutionary system. This is the only way for an actual representation of the american people to accomplish that in a government that has pigeonholed them into one of two broad categories. If you don't feel represented by the movement, I promise, it's really easy to go and represent yourself. Oh, and I'm pretty sure the the fed uses your tax dollar for things far more atrocious than renovations to a park. First, I nailed your fake poster status. No one just signs up for a message board to talk shit unless they've already been done wrong. So you are real, but you are not saying anything other than, "this is a CONCEPT that all americans should feel just about, it's bigger than you think, but you just don't get it." So what is the point? Please sum it up in two lines or less, otherwise you sound like every other political activist spouting off random shit that means nothing to the average folk, but you somehow make us feel like we are missing something with your filibustering. If you are trying to convince me the Occupy movement is about maintenence on the Steel bridge, I will gladly call bullshit. I don't think we'd be going through all of this trouble if it were as simple as a line or two and clearly, i can only speak for myself. in a nut shell, the wealthy run our country in spite of the fact that they are the minority and have been completely alienated from the needs and wants of the majority by said wealth. I'm surprised you can't see the correlation between a movement meant to empower the proletariat and rebuild the middle class, and an isolated effort to encourage the creation of jobs. I don't care if you're walking 3 miles or 3 feet, the journey begins with the first step. Maybe we haven't mastered this process that's so new to our generation, but it at least we have the balls to try. And since you can't let it go, I'm female. My experiences on this board have taught me that it's easier to be male. That's why I changed my profile. I'm vismund cygnus and I'm calling a direct violation. Is that ok with you?

I was recently in a room filled with people on every end of the political spectrum, and one thing everyone agree with was, "they are finally kicking the protestors out, it's about time." What seems to have happened is that it went from a group of people who support a movement to the homeless community sleeping at the occupy event because the supporters give them sandwiches and smoke them out. I wonder what percent of who was left even strongly supported the cause? The government shut down bathrooms and trash service, so, yeah, the parks turned to shit. The whole thing has been completely misrepresented by the media. the actions of a few have defined the characteristics of many. I would think that maybe you guys wouldve learned to be at least a little skeptical of corporate media. If you give a shit at all, you'll turn off your tv and go see for yourselves.

I am totally stoked about the re entry. Last year the weather was very mild, but when it is 90+ over there with no shade, going back to the trailer is great. I can stock it up with some great food and even a better variety of liquid refreshments. If I want to see an early band I have a tough time staying until the headliner. I tend to get bored after a while. This will be much better. I had VIP passes one year and it was nice to go back and forth. Whoever said this would be the year for Premier, you are dead on. I will be upgrading this year as well. Also, if you want to camp in GC with your friends you still can with Premier. That is what I did last year. ...do you work for live nation?

I think this thread and its misleading title are getting pretty old. Maybe we should wait a couple months or until there's like, news, or even information.
