I think drunks do like horses. It's gotta be something in the alcohol. Maybe I'm just a bit drunk right now. Who knows?

That's awesome! And, since it's Boise it's believable!

You think the Chicken Strips went corporate? The Funnel Cake... now that was corporate. Talk about the man.

I'll probably be going to see the Decemberist and Typhoon in July in southern Oregon. Hopefully I can get the time off for it.

Those chicken strips tasted AFUCKINGMAZING every time my drunk ass could muster the energy to go order some. Thankfully, my girlfriend and I switched out each time we ordered food. It was definitely nice to be able to sit and watch some of my favorite bands while she had to stand in line for food. Granted, I did miss some of the shows while I did that too. Either way, I'm wanting chicken strips now...

I enjoyed Iron and Wine's set, quite a bit. I just wasn't really expecting a jam session. So, while I didn't dislike it or anything, I was just... kind of let down. The only reason I was let down was because of my own expectations, which I should have known better, but it still happened. Regardless, I still love Iron and Wine.

I would love to see Iron and Wine again. However, Band of Horse would be amazing to see for me too... I'm not sure which to pick or if I should go with the more expensive passes... decisions decisions...

Honestly, though, the best deal food wise in the venue was the Chicken Strips. Strips and Fries for 9 bucks... hard to beat.

Avoiding that pizza was harder than the trek back to the campsite. And, usually, that pizza would make the night even better, so why avoid it?

I didn't notice that walk until last day on the last walk back. But, honestly, that day I did the most walking through the venue and walked up and down the hill like... 20 times, so it seems like the last walk wasn't so bad.

I know I haven't posted and no one knows me (I've been lurking the forums since April...) I have to agree. I truly can't understand how people say they don't like music. Music kind of just... puts me in the mood for anything. Whether it be writing or playing a game or even just working, music makes it all that much smoother. In fact, without the music, I feel extremely weird and kind of... out of my skin. And, I know I don't listen to all that good of music always, just hearing it in the background makes the day better.

I just hate excessively negative people (ironic I know). The people who sit right behind you and just shit all over everything suck. We used to go down with a girlfriend of a friend who would sit on the hill with her hands over her ears and pout. What the hell? There's so much better stuff you could be doing than just complaining about what you're currently being forced to watch. There's two other stages for fuck's sakes! Ha, this rant reminded me of this: First time post but I have to totally agree with this... During Iron & Wine some girl next to my gf and me was complaining how much they sucked and how pissed she was that they wouldn't sell beer to her. Just before that she was talking about how excited she was to be a senior next year... Definitely brought down my experience for hearing one of my favorite bands for the first time live. Throw in she just wouldn't shut up at all and I got pretty angry all together myself. Thankfully she left before Bright Eyes.
