If this is of interest to anyone, Wildhorse has 12 sites remaining at 4:45am central standard time Feb 14th. RV sites are history. You guys have fun this year, I'm sitting this one out.

I am not trying to sound snooty, particularly because this is only my second time going and I'm not as well versed in the campgrounds, but Wild Horse seems so out of the way from everything else. Is it truly worth it? Regular and premiere camping seem to offer more and be closer to the festival gates. I know there are shuttles and hot showers advertised, but do they not have the same amenities in premiere? Wild horse is just down the road from the venue. It is quieter than either of the campgrounds at Sas. Premiere promised a bunch of things that never happen. There was also just two showers for all those people there. Wildhorse has way more and the cafe is worth the cost by itself. Also, they have rv sites with electric. If you want to party all night, stay at the festival camping. If you want a calmer experience go Wildhorse.

Sasquatch needs to go to Bonnaroo and see how they do VIP. You get everything they are offering and more. All for a grand less per package. Have a great time this year, we will see you next year. I know I've been guilty of talking about that other festival in the past, so maybe I'm not exactly the right person to get into this, but I'm so fucking over people coming to this board and talking shit about how much better bonnaroo does it than sasquatch. You sound like a douche. 'blah blah blah, better beer, blah blah blah music is played till 5 in the morning, blah blah blah their campsites are cooler and you get way neater stuff for their VIP packages.' there's an entire website dedicated to bonnaroo, if you wanna go over there and suck on bonnaroo's dick, go for it. -- here's the link assholes: www.inforoo.com(And Lou, this rant really isn't directed at you, just people who come to this site and say similar things as you - and we get them A LOT. Besides I know you know about inforoo, because you posted the same things over there in the 'Sasquatch 2011 thread' as you have here.) The problem with message boards is no one can stand anyone else stating an opinion. That's all it is and it only means something to the person stating it. I have been to all the major fests. They all have their own positives and negative. I like Sasquatch probably the most. I have notice that the management seem to listen to what people are saying. So listing ideas for them on here is a good way to get those things as part of this fest. I've been on the Inforoo site for four plus years. I made a lot of friends there, but I deleted my account this week. The site has gotten away from it former friendly nature. Too many people just attacking others for saying something they don't agree with. These boards need to make a change and be more welcoming or they will fade away. This is not the most in your face board, but it's fairly close. Hope that can change. I will give it some time and see. I think the members of this board should organize some kind of meet up at the fest. Makes it a lot harder to go after people when you can put a real face to the board name. Something to think about.

The bus driver is quick in and out. That's what she said. (Sorry, couldn't help muhself.) Yeah, knew it was wrong when I wrote it, but was too lazy to change it.

Last year we did GA and a rv campsite at Wildhorse. Have to say that's the way to go. Wildhorse staff are the best. The bus driver is quick in and out. You also have their cafe open late night for the famous Wild Burger. There was a line for showers, but not that long. Taking a year off, but if we are back next year, it will be done this way. Sasquatch needs to go to Bonnaroo and see how they do VIP. You get everything they are offering and more. All for a grand less per package. Have a great time this year, we will see you next year.

Since I did a package before they sent this email.
As someone who has requested Sasquatch info in the past, I wanted to make sure you received info on our VIP Supertickets for the 10th Anniversary Sasquatch! Festival which takes place from Friday, May 27th – Monday, May 30th, 2011. We’ve made several changes to the program this year that should make it the best program yet.

There will also be complimentary continental breakfast and complimentary late-night snacks after the shows. It will definitely be the place to be for Sasquatch 2011.
Last, we do have an extremely limited amount (only 2 packages for now but may expand to a few more) of VIP Superticket packages featuring a fully-furnished safari tent with wood platform floor. All you have to do is bring yourself and you’ll get the absolute best accommodations we can provide.

Bought our rv site yesterday and got our 3 day passes today, we are f'ing set and pumped. Camping at the festival sucked last year. I can't believe they called that premiere camping. I bought the VIP package and was so disappointed. They take good care of you inside, but the camping bites. Bonnaroo's VIP is all about the camping experience. 20 by 50 sites, air conditioned lounges, meals, tons of ac showers and bathrooms, camping right next to the venue, no searches going in or out. There it's worth the money, this year its wildhorse and just the 3 day passes. So, do the Canadians actually sleep at this campground? They sure as hell didn't at the festival. You got to love 'em.

From what I've seen so far, vip packages are not very different from last year. Bigger viewing areas next to the stages and in and out access to the main venue. Other than that, really no reason for me to put out 1000 extra dollars. If we go, I'm just getting the regular tickets with premiere camping. This time bring my own shower with. 2 shower for all those people. That was an F'ing disgrace. Also, where the hell was the food and movies that was promised? Oh, one more thing. Put a lid on your beverage police. I get kicked in the ribs by one of those pussies again, his mother will not be able to recognize the f'er when I'm done. Some Dan Fogelberg looking prick, kicks me because he can't see my wrist band. Big god damn mistake my friend!

Sorry if this is a repeat, but I don't feel like reading through all 6 pages. Has anyone done the VIP package and was it worth it? I've gone VIP at Bonnaroo and 10KLF and it was worth it, just wondering if I spent my money well.
Thanks.

Yes!!! we have VIP tickets and are pumped! We usually drive to Bonnaroo, but this is a bit too far at 1,500 miles. I will miss the rv, but I'm set up well for camping. Should be great time. ;D Look for the dude wearing a kilt and a shirt that says, "rock out with your cock out." Come over and say hi.

Well, I got a reply back confirming my purchase. That makes me feel a bit better. I would like more info as to when I can expect tickets to be sent out and such. This is a strange set up. It should be a good time though. At least I won't roast my ass off like at Bonnaroo.

I've purchased vip tickets at other festivals and I had nothing like this. You email a request, then receive contract forms to fill out and email back, then wait for a response. I did this Friday night, so I'm guessing I will get a conformation Monday, I hope. Until then, I will be watching my credit card account closely for unauthorized charges. I don't know, do they sell a lot of these VIP packages? I'm guessing not. Well, if they F it up, I will be going to Bonnaroo instead.

^^^^^MGMT played Bonnaroo last year too. It was a good show. Didn't see all of it. My lady got hit by the heat and was about to blow, so we exited stage right.
I would like to see, Band of Horses, Of Montreal and !!! (chic chic chic).

I was hoping that was policed on this board. That's one of the things I like about Inforoo, flaming is not allowed!

Give me Bonnaroo's lineup, minus the jam bands. Can someone please explain to me the appeal of 3 minutes of vocals and twenty minutes of guitar? Sorry I forgot, just add a pound of weed.

Thanks for the info. Looks like a good time. I need a change. Too many Phish fans this year at Roo. On top of the fact that Roo is being a bit greedy with the VIP packages. The meal plan is 194.00 per person for 6 meals total. 32 bucks a meal, they have to be F'ing kidding. Plus they raised the VIP tickets themselves, not happy. The topper is the heat. Being from MN I don't do extreme heat. Everyday is 90+ with topped out humidity and no shade anywhere. If a big storm comes in, that's a 700 acre farm with nowhere to hide. I'm not going to say it's not a great time, it's just time for a break. Waiting for this lineup is going to kill me.

I expect that after seeing what happened to Langerado, other festivals are going to try a little bit harder to book better lineups. Bonnaroo pleased both the jam band people and indie crowd with this years lineup. I'm hoping Sasquatch does the same, less on the jam bands please. If not, I will have to cancel my airline tickets and buy me up some Roo VIP. Don't let me down Sasquatch.
