A fetal physiologist? That's cool! Thanks - it was very cool. The fetus is an amazing little thing. I was studying the production of amniotic fluid, which is all fetal urine after 14 wks - cool fact, if an adult peed as much as a fetus per kg, we would pee about 44 liters a day - which would make the Sasquatch honey buckets pretty unbearable.

I never took in any food and never bought any inside for the whole festival - something about heat and music and dancing made me lose any appetite I had left after a HUGE breakfast in the campsite. The only money I spent was for $12 Red Hook beers, and not too many of those either. I was drinking so much water there wasn't room for anything else. I would have killed for a real burrito at the end of the night - I must have walked past it and not seen the place every time. Good info for next year though

I think you and your GF will have a blast. Enjoy the road trip as well! You'll be driving through some spectacular bits of the continent. It is getting a little bit more corporate over the years, but it doesn't sound as bad as Bonnaroo (I've never been to the 'roo so Im guessing here..). It's a great time and the people are laid back and fun to be around.
Re bands - The Flaming LIps have played in sequential years but I don't recall any others - at least not headliners. It will probably be a few years before Modest Mouse put in another appearance. That being said, the BEST thing about Sasquatch IMHO is being amazed at new bands you would otherwise never hear - some of my favorites today I had never listened to before Sasquatch.

Somewhere quiet to decompress - they have had a chill-out tent at a few festivals I've been to, but I've never seen one at Sasquatch - there were times during the weekend that I would have welcomed one...
