When Sasquatch announces an Ambassador program after my group of 10 has bought tickets... could've saved us $800 CAD damn Has anybody signed up for this? Does it give any specifics on perks? Sell 5 get one free. Also VIP upgrades but I haven't seen how you get those

Freind who contracts with the Gorge tells me ticket sales are only 7000. Third hand for what it's worth but I can't say I'm surprised.

You will be lucky to even get cell service most of the time, let alone 3 or 4G. I'm not aware of any wifi anywhere on festival grounds. Your best bet is to find a way to get to Quincy or George (maybe 10 miles or so) and find a sports bar (but I bet most of the locals won't be really into NHL..... I could be wrong)

Someone said they emailed this year and were told "one wristband per legal occupant of the vehicle" for what it's worth.

I did this in premiere the year before last - I arrived hours after my buddy but managed to track him down and parked next to him. He just saved a spot with his canopy that I slid my car into - no problem.

I've done both over that last 5 or so years and am going premiere this year. Really the only differences are more room and free hot showers. I have never bothered with the shuttle and have never had a flushing thunder closet but I've always felt the festival did a pretty good job keeping those clean wherever you are camping. With regards to the party scene, you are free to wander wherever you want and party with anyone anywhere so I don't see a real issue there. We have always had a blast partying in premiere on Thursday night. As far as I know free coffee and doughnuts are in terrace camping and frankly I wouldn't want that stuff in the morning anyway.
But the best bit about premiere is that is so close to the "path of party" that leads to the amphitheater so I don't have to stumble over ditches and tent wires on my way back to district 9 at 1 or 2 in the morning.

Exit 41 on the i90 going west at coeur d'Alene. There's a massive Walmart just north of the freeway.

I'll dig something up. It's pretty Heath Robinson though.

I've never had one break (yet) in 5 Sasquatch's but I have seen it happen. I agree that taking the canopy down would eliminate this risk. On the other hand, arriving back at the campsite after a day at the festival, the last thing I want to do is campsite husbandry. Im convinced the answer is lots of bungees

We used a canopy attached to bungie (sp?) cords that were themselves attached to big ground pegs. It worked like a charm. We also wrapped one wall of the enclosure with a tarp, also attached using bungie cords and had no problem with the wind. Lots of bungie cords, that's my advice.

Anybody catch the Deer Tick covers set? I would've like to seen that had I known about it, though I doubt it would've trumped my decision to see Ted Leo. I caught about 10 minutes of it and I thought it was awful. They were clearly hammered though

I always feel kind of lame if I wear a band's T shirt to one of their gigs but in this case it's acceptable I think

I noticed, not surprisingly, that the t shirts for a particular band were usually only available the day that band played - so if you see something you like, snag it, 'cos it won't be there tomorrow...
