Coachella and Bonnaroo can have Paul and Bruce and that is fine by me. Just give us Neil Young, Lou Reed or Moody Blues!!! Would add a little diversity to the lineup and they all put on very intimate/powerful shows.

I would like to see Bush, they are suppose to return this year for some shows as long as Gavin doesn't bring his wife!

Would be cool to see Primus as a headliner, and have Buckethead there or just combine them for Colonel Claypool's Bucket of Bernie Brains!

I'll give this thread another two days before people start making death threats towards each other. Good call. It is deteriorating more and more each day. I am personally here because I am totally stoked for Sasquatch but it seems like most posters would rather assert their hate for eachother's ideas/musical tastes than be excited about the entire experience... Gotta remember you are all talking to the people that you will be camping with in about 4 months ;D I will have to setup a trip wire...

Saul would be sweet. But since we're not going to attend the Warped tour, but instead the Sasquatch Music Festival, I hope that Flogging Molly will stay far away. Cause seeing Flogging Molly only do 40 minutes is awesome. They're an awesome live band, if Bad Brains could play, they could. ;D They are not a band I listen to at home or in the car but they make me smile in concert. They are a happy and energetic band.

Camelbac full of some sort of Energy drink, vodka and gatorade combination. The rest of the bag full of cans of some cheap beer and then a few power bars and sandwiches. Sasquatch will get the ticket price out of me and not a cent more, viva frugality.

PhD really doesn't equal intelligent anymore, have you seen half the people with their PhD in education?? Haha, I wouldn't trust most of them to make change for 20 dollars. Many PhD programs are challenging but there are so many worthless liberal arts PhDs out there today, that you have to ask someone exactly what exactly they have their Doctorate in before you assume anything. I don't quite think that's true. The amount of time and discipline required to obtain a PhD thins out the herd. Are there idiots with PhDs? Sure. There are also probably many geniuses with BAs or Associate Degrees or some who simply skipped college all to together. For the record, my girlfriend has a PhD in Paleopalynology. And she loves dance music. Agreed. My point was that fact she has a PhD is not going to rule her out of the idiot category in my book. I would have to interact with her first hand before I gave my final verdict. For the record, I have been through the hoops, I am not just attacking higher education blindly. I have my Doctorate in Pharmacy and I am currently finishing up my PhD in Bioengineering, for the record since you are keeping some kind of "record". Leading this thread way off topic, let me say a little prayer now for the return of Hold Steady and NIN to Sasquatch.....Amen

It would be nice to see Flogging Molly make an appearance. Saul William would be a cool addition also, he is coming through the NW In March but him doing a collaboration with Trent Reznor would add something special to Sasquatch!.

Electronic/Dance music tend to draw a younger, less intelligent crowd My girlfriend, the one with the PhD that loves dance music, would be PISSED to read that. PhD really doesn't equal intelligent anymore, have you seen half the people with their PhD in education?? Haha, I wouldn't trust most of them to make change for 20 dollars. Whatever band or side project or solo adventure Bob Mould is currently working on would be great and kind of likely. I'm just so happy this board isn't planning Sasquatch, and I'm really hoping it's not the voice of the the majority, though I kind of feel like the personal fantasies might be misrepresenting the buried ambitions each poster has for the festival, because apparently 99% of message board posters couldn't program a festival worth shit, so more props to the people who do and I am very glad they don't listen to the bullshit people vomit out here. AKA I truly hope believe and wish the final product will blow away the altrock dipshit expectations of this board, Pearl Jam aside because I'm on that wagon, it's fucking Pearl Jam and they've worked for that spot, but what I'm saying is that this board has people who seem to think that Band Who Had One or Two Cool Songs on the Radio When I Was in Middleschool would be great, and maybe that's because The Cure and REM got everyone confused about what the exact intentions were for this festival, which from my personal trips and what I gather is a catering to underrepresented music lovers, who dig really underrepresented music, and don't listen to just ANTYHING, for fuck's sake, who don't ask for Any Band With a Radio Hit, so let's stop all this Oasis nonsense and really hope for something great. You agree with me. I know you do because I'll see you at Sasquatch! and you'll be being happy that it's not these crap bands playing. Calling people dipshit's based on musical taste. I bet you have an awesome outlook on life and have a career where the sky is the limit...

If Pearl Jam did do squatch I could probably die happy (especially if they brought old neil young along.) Who ever thinks pearl jam is irrelevant is an idiot, plain and simple. They are living legends! Neil Young and Pearl Jam would be amazing. Separate performances and then a collaboration performance...o to dream. The Who and Pearl Jam would be spectacular too. I would love to see NIN make an appearance again, they always put on a great show. Maybe have Explosions in the sky play at sunset prior to NIN...I love dreaming Really hoping to see MURS, never seen him live before. Be fun to see Guns n Roses at Sasquatch. An Everclear reunion would be cool to see. Hopefully when they finally announce Coachella, there will be some good clues of possible performers.
