Do they ever! Ha ha, I was womping my face off in the campground all weekend!
Were any of you guys a part of the epic roaming party Sunday night? The dub step party bus was going crazy but the party police was there and shut it down right at 2. So everyone was broken up and then me and the girl I was with would go wandering around the campground until we found another crazy tent party...which the party police would promptly stop. We kept seeing all the same people at all these different tents, and they would all get shut down within like 20-30 minutes. Then we would hear music and just start running. Epic times.
we were on the party train sunday and monday night, that was so much fun.
All I've got to ask is did anyone else take the chocolate mushrooms pressed into a star shape mold? Those induced about as intense a high as I can ever remember being on. Made Washed Out absolutely mind blowing!
someone in our group got them too, said they were great! btw, washed out was a surprise, his band and him put on such a great set, way better than last year when i saw him.
once you sneak in vodka or whatever in a water bottle, how intense is the security inside about looking for people drinking outside beverages? for example i'm planning on bringing in some of those single serve powders that you pour into water bottles for a mixer, this will obviously turn the liquid purple or red or whatever. basically is security gonna bother me if i'm drinking a colored liquid from a water bottle? or is it all chill once you make it thru the gates?
You know what's an achievement? Being around to have seen Nirvana. Twice. Judging by your s/n, we know your primary reason to go to Sasquatch. Just seeing 1/3 of them doesn't cut it, lemme tell ya.
haha, if you're implying that i'm going to sasquatch to see the foo fighters, you're way off. i don't really have any interest in seeing them, but i probably will because they're the only act that night. my s/n has nothing to do with nirvana, i could care less that you've seen them twice.
That's the strange thing to me-- this fest doesn't have an abundance of poi-throwers and hula-hoopers like other festivals I've seen, so I'm not sure what a bunch of North Face bedecked 20somethings are going to be doing with this music.
they play dance music, there will be lots of people on corn chips, people will enjoy it. they do a couple different monthly club nights around portland and it's always packed and a pretty good time. i'm not planning on seeing them at all at the festival, but they are there to provide a place for people to dance when they're in between sets and still rolling hard. no one is going to sasquatch thinking, "man i gotta catch dj anjali and the incredible kid"
I guess what I'm saying is that it is an interesting choice for you to choose calling me out on painting in broad strokes in this particular thread as your method of establishing a personality on this board.
awww babe, i didn't mean for you to get all butthurt about it. i know you're the big guy on this board.
