All time Favourite Concert: Death Cab at Red Rocks Summer '08 If I remember correctly, that show had some sweet openers. My sister went and I was jealous. That same summer, I'm pretty sure Modest Mouse played there, too, with The National. I'm pretty sure it was just them and Rogue Wave, but I could be wrong. I just realized that their set at Sasquatch this year will be exactly 3 years after that show. Man, I would love to move to Denver, if only to be closer to Red Rocks.

Not yet, but it's in my Netflix queue.

In my reverse thread reading, I fell upon this gem. I'm a huge fan of 80s movies and filmmakers. John Hughes, Savage Steve Holland, Joe Dante and Cameron Crowe to name a few. LOVE Cameron Crowe. Say Anything and Almost Famous are in my Top 5.

I really enjoyed The Butterfly Effect, but I have to admit that the plot holes make it more of a guilty pleasure.
Movies like this always ignite an internal debate for me. If you were to time-travel, would you stay an entire separate person than your past-self (a la Harry Potter) or would you go back to being the person you were at that moment (a la Butterfly Effect)?
Hmm..

It would be very unlikely for me to plan on wearing the same pair of shoes all weekend. The chacos are certainly getting their time in, too. Especially in the case it rains- living in Oregon has taught me that Toms aren't the best for getting wet.

I have the army green ones right now and love them! The new patterned ones look fun, but I don't think I'd wear them enough. The green are (like you said) good for not showing dirt and practical for wearing with pretty much anything.

It's funny that you picked Snuff as your least favorite. In general I would say that the aforementioned "unrequited kinship" has kept me reading Palahniuk's books simply because he wrote them. Snuff is an exception to this rule (it just didn't look interesting), and I still haven't gotten around to reading it.

Favorite: Probably Fight Club- it's such a classic! Movie Adaptation: Haunted- I think the format of the book would be an awkward translation, but I'd be interested in seeing it done.
Also, just want to say that I'm quite eager for the release of Damned. Breakfast Club meets Dante's Inferno? Sign me up.

You just broke the first rule. It's kind of silly, but as UO student, I feel a sense of unrequited kinship with Palahniuk. I'd have to agree that I prefer the movie, but I also put A Clockwork Orange in this category.

It was pretty sick. Part of a week-long concert series by the local alternative station. Other nights I attended were Tokyo Police Club + Neon Trees and Mimicking Birds + Broken Bells.

Andes mints are my usual go-to. A few days and the bag is gone.

Also, I saw this exact post from this exact username on the Coachella board. What is the deal with that? Do you work for TOMS? Nope - I'm just going to both festivals & responded to both threads at a similar time . Personally I find Toms really comfy. The have proper soles in them with arch support - alot better than other canvas shoes I have tried in the past. Toms were my first thought, but then I'm not exactly sure how to clean them after they (inevitably) get disgustingly dirty..?

Thread started today, but the deadline was the 14th? If it's still open, I'm in!
