Yay for mega popular british band who is almost completely unknown in the Good Ol' U S of A! Seriously though, who ever said that they would add one of the Foo fighters tourmates was right. Biffy Clyro is opening for the Foo in Europe this summer.

Juno is pretty freakin awesome! Also The Leo speach did seem pretty contrived. So is anyone interested in her new movie Red State?

My best Memory of Safeco field is watching the Roof close in the middle of a game because it was drizzling and the cloud coverage was so low that it looked like the scenes in Independence Day when the Alien ships break through the crowd. My Dad and I also had a good time heckling the lovely fans who scattered to the concourses because of a few drops of the wet stuff...

Yeah I am definitely excited... I feel very lucky that I dont work in the mornings so I was able to buy tickets right at 10am... Although I probably would have taken a sick day if I was scheduled....

I am a life long Mariners fan, which is pretty absolutely depressing. The only stadiums Ive ever been into are the Kingdome and Safeco. I remember watching games in the early 90's on the 300 level trying to figure out which ant was Ken Griffey, jr.

Wow, I am so excited to camp!! These pictures are freaking awesome!! I also dont see the point of hoteling it while at the gorge. It just seems like so so much work. You are at an amazing place for a whole day listening to amazing music, then at the end of the day you have to fight traffic, actually drive somewhere else, then get up in the morning come all the way back and repeat said experience knowing full well that you get to fight that traffic all over again.... Give me a tent any day of the week!

I got my tickets this past friday! I am so excited. Although I now wish we had bought four day passes. I am a Foo Fighters fan who didnt really understand what sasquatch was all about. Yay Sasquatch!

So a quick of the Foo Fighters website shows that the Foo are playing the festival circuit pretty heavily this year. My guess is that their actual world tour doesnt take off till late summer/ early fall. If thats the case then they probably wont be bringing anyone with them. If they do, Ive read that Dave Grohl likes to invite a Band that they really love and/or have never played with and a local band. In 2008 when they played Seattle Super Grass and Minus the Bear opened for them.
So to some things up if they bring some bands with them Im going to predict that it will be a reunited Led Zeppelin and Pearl Jam.

Hey there. I know how annoying it is when n00bs start new topics that are already answered, so I checked and my situation appears to be unique for this year. I'm in a band. We were asked by a friend to play an on-campgrounds party, not associated with the official festival, but raging nonetheless. It would be an awesome opportunity for our band and a good time for everyone. Here's the catch: we needed tickets to the festival to go camping. And tickets are sold out. So I'm wondering if there's any way for us to get into the campgrounds without going to the festival? Would just buying a single-day pass work? Is there a special pass for just camping? Can just one person in the car have a festival pass and make it work? any answers would be much appreciated. You know google searches can alleviate the need to look like a moron. www.gorgecamping.com/SASQUATCH-2011.html
