Sasquatch will be fine, guaranteed. A great line-up would only be a bonus, even if its mediocre the gorge itself is a major selling point. oh and our line-up pretty much has to be better than coachella, at least the headliners. it was better than coachella last year. paul mccartney, the killers and the cure isn't a hard group of headliners to beat.

that pretty much confirms no doubt won't be appearing at sasquatch. the 25th is more than likely a day off for them, i couldn't see them playing way out at the gorge late monday night and then being in calgary the next day. i wouldn't have minded seeing them, but i'd much rather see someone else headline each night. they don't really come across as a sasquatch friendly band to me, either.

Pearl Jam Yeah Yeah Yeahs MGMT i think it's very likely we'll see at least one of these, and a small chance we'd see all three. either way, i'll be there

yeah it wouldn't make any sense for the flaming lips to be there 2 years in a row, since they'd be taking up a headlining slot again. i'd love to see them at a future festival though, they were great last year.

Scough, nickleback has never played Sasquatch. They played bumbershoot a few years ago. ah yes, i mixed up bumbershoot and sasquatch. good to see the sasquatch planners have avoided them. they put together a hell of a festival the last couple years, so i have confidence this year will be great.

good news, fall out boy is playing a seattle show in april which makes them an almost definite lock to NOT be at sasquatch. i don't think the festival planners would schedule such a terrible band in the first place, but then again nickelback did play sasquatch before. coachella's headliners are pretty bad this year, hopefully ours will be a lot better.

for those that aren't aware, don't expect to get much (if any) sleep if you stay in the general campground. last year was also my first time. 2am-8am were supposed to be the quiet hours, but the security didn't crack down on people making lots of noise. the first night people didn't shut up until well after 4am.
also the honey buckets in the general campground were disgusting. the second day i went in one where someone had vomited all over the inside, then the next one i went into had a couple used condoms sitting to the side of the seat.
another reason to get a premium campsite is the shower situation. as a first timer i had no clue if there were showers for general campground people to use, and if there were, there were no signs indicating where. as a person that showers every single day i was pretty horrified to have to go 3 days without one.
last time i didn't bring adequate sunblock, so by the third day i was as red as a lobster. bring some of the most heavy duty sunblock you can find, since the gorge is pretty much a part of a high desert where the UV index gets sky high even if it isn't a perfectly sunny day.
one last thing i can think of is to buy a camelbak backpack with plenty of water storage. i thought it would be a great idea to park myself at the main stage for 10-12 hours each day without water, and i had some serious dehydration issues by the third day.

I'd love to see Beirut make another appearance this year. What are the chances of some big names like U2 or Depeche Mode headlining? They both have new records coming out this year prior to Sasquatch. I have a feeling Pearl Jam might be one of the headliners, but that's probably too much to ask for. I'm hoping if the Kings of Leon rumor is true that they'll be a sub-headliner. I don't think they're good enough to headline at a festival that's trying to become one of the country's elite.

I'd hate having No Doubt headline mainly because of the thousands of annoying teenagers they would draw to Sasquatch. Agreed that they should headline elsewhere.

the killers are playing at the wamu theater in seattle on April 22, so i'd have to say it's highly unlikely they'd make another stop here for sasquatch.
