Oh man, I totally forgot that forums are limited to a set number of threads. My bad!

Hey man, nice first post. Just a quick tip: if you want to embed the links start with "youtube" and then end with "/youtube". Replace the quotes with square brackets.

I was curious whether or not this year will see the return of the Maine Stage. Last year it was the stage where all the NW rappers were performing, but with such a stacked rap lineup this year I can't imagine that they'd limit the artists to such a small stage. Also last year we had a lot of sound pollution between the Banana Shack and the Maine stage (much to Todd Barry's distaste).
Whatta y'all think, chuckleheads?

I'll post a write up for Nacho Picasso at some point in the near future but I'm a huge fan. Both of his albums from last year were very very good. Nice! He was one of the only artists I couldn't assemble into my Spotify playlist, save for one (awesome) song. I look forward to reading your write up.

Do you have to sneak inflatables in or are they generally accepted by security?

Until some meat head security has an aneurysm and start violently attacking every inflatable in sight.
Then we've got problems.

EDIT: Here's a Baths track too.

I tweeted at Snack's asking if there would be any late EDM adds and he said "unlikely, but maybe" ... Pretty surprising, considering the lack of any big EDM names on the bill currently. This makes me a sad panda

I, too, have a PM box just begging for one of these oh so elusive codes.
As incentive, here is a classic youtube video to make you chuckle.

Why is Devendra Banhart not on anyone's list! Has anyone seen him live; the guy could easily headline. I saw Devendra Banhart several years back (06 I think?) with no prior knowledge of his music and thought him and his band put on a great show, but then I couldn't get into his actual albums at all - they seemed really weak, and I started to question just how much of a role drugs had played in my enjoyment of his set. Then I dated a girl who loved him, and one night, on our anniversary, I was driving us toward the ferry on Whidbey Island with "Seahorse" playing and a fucking deer popped up out of nowhere and SPRINTED HEAD ON TOWARD MY CAR. Collision followed, the deer died instantly, my car got totaled, and it remains the worst accident I've ever been in. So fuck Devendra Banhart. Well that escalated quickly.

I am really, really enjoying Wild Belle and Death Grips. Very excited to hear more from both of them.

Can't say I'm too pumped for a Macklemore headliner, so much of his material is pure cheese. It'll be good to see Thrift Shop, Cowboy Boots, and Wing$ live, though. Maybe you should listen to something other than The Heist. See I felt like his prior work just absolutely blew. And We Danced is an abortion.

To be fair, Wayne seemed pretty pissed about getting his set cut off to celebrate Squatch's birthday. He cut himself off. Ridiculous he should be mad. If he wasn't cut short why did he throw his little hissy fit near the end of the set?

I feel like this lineup is slightly behind 2010 and 2012 as far as awesomeness goes, but it's still pretty damn good. There were several omissions from the lineup that I would have loved to see, mainly Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Flaming Lips, any form of Neko Case. I'm starting to think I should just accept that Portishead will never be at Sasquatch. I wonder if that rumor about Wayne Coyne not wanting to do Sasquatch again is true, given that they have a new record out in April and seemed to be likely. To be fair, Wayne seemed pretty pissed about getting his set cut off to celebrate Squatch's birthday.

Nope, I just have had very little exposure to a lot of those bands. Which is great, that's the reason I read these lists: a good jumping off point into the sea of music I should be familiar with by Squantch.
