I do think it's interesting to note that out of every top billed artist at the fest, he has the least amount of albums released by a large margin. The only act that comes close is Mumford (but their debut was about a thousand times bigger than Section.80, if we're counting S.80). I love the guy and I know he's got more than enough material (i.e. big features, new tracks) to fill out a long set, but this is nuts to me.
This is how pop stardom works, and how artists are perceived by the blind masses. It's more about popularity, than talent or content. At least in this case the artist in question very talented. It's kind of crazy he is at the top of the lineup, but he has those couple of songs that everybody knows, and when people look at the poster they will see and recognize that name.
I am still clueless about Mumford, wouldn't recognize them by appearance, and sure as hell wouldn't recognize a song by them. It is safe to say many people I know would be even more clueless.

As of summer my new favorite local brewery became Tamarack. They started out in Lake Side, but now have a location in Missoula. The only thing I see canned is the Amber and IPA. If you have a chance to stop by one of their breweries they have a great selection. One of my favorites is the Sip And Go Naked Apricot Ale.
I used to really like amber ale, but have grown away from it the last few years. There just seems to be so many better options out there anymore. That had changed after I tried Yardsale. If I am looking to grab something at the local grocery store it is now my go to.
Edit: Funny, I looked back in this thread and noticed I already posted about this same beer and how I didn't care for amber anymore. I guess I warmed up to it.

Is this the year he played before Big Boi? I remember he was still fairly unknown, and still did great.
Yes, it was that year. If it wasn't for Heart that would have been my favorite show of the weekend.
Dude, I'm pretty sure Heart wasn't there that year. After reading this I thought I might have missed them, so I had to go find a poster for verification. That was the only time I made it into the arena that weekend. It seemed like way too big of a hassle to get in for any headliners unless you wanted to camp in there all day.
Edit: Were Heart playing somewhere else that weekend? I kind of assumed you meant at Bumbershoot.
