If you can go check the place out and verify the renter is legit there shouldn't be much of a problem. I rented recently from craigslist. I was a little freaked out by it, because there wasn't very much paperwork, and my landlord said they live in Hawaii, but after some internet research stalking, I felt alright about it. Newspaper ads seem like they suck.

I thought there was a rideshare thread at one time, but the memory is vague. There have been several new threads from people looking for rides from Seattle and Western Washington recently. Those people should all get together and rent a big van or something.
There needs to be one thread for people who need rides. Is there a thread for that already? 95% of noobs probably won't use it anyway, they usually don't actually read the other threads before creating new ones.
Can somebody make any suggestions for the National? Lately when I'm listening to new artists I just go to their Spotify page and play from the top down, which starts with top hits, which is often the newest hits, and then it goes from newest to oldest in order, unless some reissues are in the mix. That is not the best way to be introduced to a band. I hope these suggestions don't make me miss Boys Noize. I doubt it will.
Board suicide? I dunno. I've never been able to sit through an entire National album but I do enjoy a handful of their songles quite a bit.
I keep trying. I'm trying right now, but I have to work late, and I need the opposite of what the National are offering. I think the National are putting my internet connection to sleep, because all of a sudden shit's not streaming right.
Definitely. Especially when I have to sign that stupid slip that says if anything happens to them it is now no bodies problem but my own. You know that paper trail goes back to Live Nation, and they are hard enough to deal with as it is.
I have confirmed that UPS sucks in backwoods MT. I didn't want to be surprised when my Sasquatch wristbands arrived, so I had something sent to my apartment for the first time. I either sign a liability waiver allowing them to leave the box on my doorstep, or I drive an hour to the closest UPS store. I guess I'll be taking a road trip just to get my wristbands.
