you know what? i've been to sasquatch 4 times now... i'm pretty sure....pretty sure that i've never taken a shower there. wow. yeah, i remember thinking it would be cool to get some action while i was at sasquatch! now i know that the only day to do it is the 1st day

i would say it's not gonna happen. additionally, most of the crowd that isn't in the pits is going to be sitting on the bowl part of the gorge, which is...shaped like a bowl...i don't see it standing up in a way that you'd find practical at all. imagine it tipping over and coals setting the people in front of you ablaze. they probably wouldn't let you take it just because it might be used to smoke weed (i know it's intended for tobacco). i totally understand why you'd want to bring it though. its a cool concept

i like it. yeah, wilco is indeed out of the country around sasquatch. they're not happening, but they make a believable act for that slot. something of similar caliber instead, i suppose. in general this potential lineup not only looks reasonable, but really good too. let's see which ones stick. gogol bordello is doing some festivals in europe the month after sasquatch. i would dig that addition...

i agree with most of your speculations and complains about coachella's lineup, ccoult. i would really like to see leonard cohen somewhere. hell, sasquatch is a lot closer to canada. coachella might be too hot for him, in his refined age... i guess the biggest band from coachella that i'd like to see at the gorge next to the black keys though is franz ferdinand. is there some reason that can't happen? oh, and the yeah yeah yeahs. i could dig that

god, we knew so much more about 2008 by this time in january. there aren't even serious rumors. when does a new sasquatch website happen? it seems like that much should be done soon, to get some hype generating. they make it look as though it isn't even happening this year.

coachella doesn't allow parking with cars either. having your car is essential. especially if it rains, as the gorge is prone to doing. camping at sasquatch was perfect last year, from my experience. i always meet the greatest people

er, the STROKES and FRANZ seem like they'd be an ideal combination. might be overly optimistic, but there's the new strokes album being recorded in february thirdly, i want the CONSTANTINES. they couldn't be too expensive to book

i'm trying to figure out a few of the songs the flaming lips played. now it strikes me that it might be useful to have a thread like this dedicated to answering these kinds of questions, regarding song sets. ultimately, it would be handy for anyone wondering what "that one song" was. Anyway, how about the lips' set first?

i would just die if it were that hot...none of that coachella shit i'd love 70s and some clouds as long as that hail doesn't strike again. weather is an important factor...i'll be watching

so we should get MGMT! god i hate tom petty, coldplay and jay-z. they got some really kickass acts otherwise--flaming lips, my morning jacket, black mountain, brazilian girls, secret machines....i won't regret missing this thing though
