I thought he could have thought of something much more interesting to put on the sign. It must have been an inside joke. I think it would be pretty awesome to have a whiteboard-sign that you could keep updating next year...but don't any of you assholes do it

Did they have anyone fill in for Mogwai last year? I think there's a point when booking a replacement is impossible. Spiritualized closed that stage and was great, but I was wearing my Mogwai shirt, looking like a douche

Jack is a musical machine and I doubt he'll have trouble churning out enough new songs to fill most of his time slot. I'm with everyone hoping that's not the case. What I wonder is how many people we'll actually see on stage. I'm not going to be happy if it's Jack White sitting on a chair playing acoustic guitar in the middle of the main stage.

the last time i ever listened to death cab was when i saw their set after QOTSA years ago. it was so boring. i thought I'd give them another chance this time, to see if they grew into the headliner spot, but that is obviously not the case. sadsquatch

i don't believe they would confiscate the camera. i always got a chance to bring my shit they found back to my camp site. just play dumb or make up some crap about accidentally leaving it in the bag, if it becomes a problem

oh, as far as water bottles go, just fill some with vodka and put them at the bottom of a bag with shitloads of sealed bottles. it always works and requires no effort. you can even pull some out for security to show them the sealed nature of the bottles, eliminating any doubt of your unwavering compliance

i wish these had been the options last year so i could see what's changed. i personally know far fewer people coming from portland and eugene than last year and more people from seattle. not that the sample is big...

having seen so many of the artists on the lineup, this is actually one of the most exciting acts for me. they seem like they'll be a good act, but yeah--the 45 minute set sucks and now i will probably miss das racist entirely to be there for gayngs. ehh

i tried to find the article, but i have to go to work. Pitchfork talked about his performance at another large venue. In what I remember, the article said he initially seemed small and alone on the stage with such a mellow sound. Later, he started wailing out some solos and stuff and it seemed more natural. Maybe I'll find the article later.
I hope he's good. I've been a big fan for a long time.
