Just found 9,000 for $420 - who's with me? I need a glowstick cannon to shoot them off from the VIP area. You cut out a lot of support if you want to shoot them off from that area.

So, do Pretty Lights have any good original tracks I should be checking out? I Know little about them. This thread alone has me interested enough to join the party, but I mean, are they something worth listening to on record at all? I recommend his Filling Up the City Skies LP. It's free to download on his website too. Tracks on youtube have not impressed me, though I get how a live show can be a whole different world when it comes to EDM. His recorded tracks are longer and more drawn out compared to his live shows. A Pretty Lights show is a spectacle and dance party to behold. These are two tracks worth listening to if you haven't already.

His remixes are stellar. See: All of the lights, Empire State of Mind, and Chicago Bulls Theme. Don't forget this one:

Seriously. John C Reily better be doing some Sasquatch shit on stage during Tenacious D's set. This is making me wonder if Dave Grohl will be filling in as the drummer. John C. Reilly on drums would be wicked too though. I really hope the lineup takes advantage of its crossover potential.

St Vincent - I actually hope they move her to the mainstage because that would be beautiful That's not out of the realm of possibilities. Wasn't Iron & Wine initially supposed to play the Bigfoot before he switched with Robyn?

Not long at all if you're at the smaller stages or on the hill. If you're in the pit of the main stage however...

I've seen Beck five times and only one was short of amazing. How long ago?

So the entire point of a late night set is for 13 year olds to fistpump to brostep? Yes, except the 13 year-olds. You can go back to the campgrounds after the headliner while the rest of us party off the remnants of recreational substances used throughout the day.

I agree that the undercard kicks all kinds of ass this year. 2011 was the first Sasquatch I attended and I was ecstatic about the lineup when it was announced initially. I had a great time at the fest last year, but I recognized that too much emphasis was put into the headliners. The subs last year were fairly mediocre.
Needless to say, this year's lineup is damn near perfect (for what the fest is trying to achieve). As a whole it is much stronger than 2011's. I would disagree with OP about the headliners though. I've heard tremendously good things about Bon Iver's performance, and Jack White will bring it to the Gorge (seven-nation army with a full band? yes please). I'm damn thrilled for rave riday with Pretty Lights too.
Beck is be the only headliner I'm slightly concerned about based on what I've heard about from his most recent shows.

It's looking like some Mogwai/Beck overlap if they both play Monday. I'm fairly convinced I'll miss some of Beck based on who else is playing that day. I'm hoping there will be a an overlap between Mogwai/Beck like there was with Deerhunter/Wilco last year.

I'm going to be shooting footage of Excision show in Eugene tomorrow night. I'll try to ask him.
My vote goes to Kaskade though.

I'm putting hopeful money on late night sets by Explosions in the Sky and Mogwai. Out of all the artists on Bigfoot those two are the only ones that can really close a stage with any amount of grandeur. That would be prime

I'm thinking it's the latter. Only someone like the mau5 is truly deserving (popularity-wise) of headlining a night at Sasquatch. No. Pretty Lights is far more of a musician than Deadmau5 ever will be. Some tracks on Random Album Title had some interesting build ups and progressions but Deadmau5 is a fad beyond that. Pretty Lights' soulful electro glitch hop will lend its sound to the Gorge significantly more than Deadmau5's minimal house. Glowpocalypse round 2 will be wild. Let's just hope people wait for the drop this time before launching their glow sticks.

I see what you mean. It's not like the concept of banking off someone else's ideas is a new thing though.. Banking might not be the best adjective either. He's not trying to turn a huge profit on these. Part of the price tag goes into paying for the materials to make the shirts.

It looks like Beats Antique has a gap in their tour schedule between the 13th and 31st. I would say they are a good possibility. It would make great sense, they just played Portland last Friday and absolutely killed it. They really dig the Pacific NW too. Pea, you are in for a major treat at Coachella. Don't miss them!

Considering the lackluster hip-hop presence at sasquatch last year, There could be more incentive for Zacks to up the ante (or not at all). If so, Atmosphere could be a logical act to snag. From here until May they only have one tour date in March which is Cape Town...
