My plan: Skip Murphy entirely and take in all of Bon Iver's set.
The reality: Whatever substances that I'll have in me at the time will end up deciding who I see.

This is my first time checking this thread, so I don't know if it's been mentioned already. Is anyone going/thinking of going to SBTRKT on Wednesday at the Wonder Ballroom in Portland?
After seeing the Sasquatch schedule I'm far more inclined to go to this show since there's no way I can see his set over The D's. Oh, it's $18 too.

Rusty, was that pulled from the Canadian Sasquatch website?

I've seen Bon Iver before, and James Murphy is much harder to see live. Not to mention Bon Iver kinda puts me to sleep, whereas James is known to make everyone dance with his DJ sets. James Murphy is going to be playing vinyls of funky disco music for you to dance to; hence, a DJ set. Bon Iver will be performing their music LIVE. That's the deal breaker for me at least. I will still get my dancing derping fix from Feed Me afterward! Win/Win St. Vincent's set at Coachella was simply amazeballs. It ended up being a straight up rock show. I am not missing her set for anything. Woo hoo! Now I feel better about leaving The Shins early.

My friend and I are also seeking a ride out of PDX. We're both 21 and very friendly to the hour of 4:20, if that's a draw for any of you. Money for gas, food, etc, glowsticks... Shall be provided!

While they only have three songs, the three songs purity ring has put out are stupidly good. I've also seen them before and they are really great live. I wouldn't miss them. Neither would I, but Metric happens to be playing at the same time.

This is pretty much where I'm at: Still not sure how I'm going to tackle the Mogwai/Beck conflict. Anyone here who's seen both that can offer their opinion? Sad omissions from my schedule: Beirut SBTRKT Purity Ring James Murphy

FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU just noticed Beirut/Walkmen/Apparat/Zola Jesus. Easily the biggest conflict for me. I guess at that point you need to decide who's going to be the best to see at sunset. I'd go with Beirut if I hadn't already seen them before. Since I'm planning on catching Star Slinger, I'm just going to stick around for Apparat. Sunday will be amazing: Apparat>Little Dragon>Bon Iver>Feed Me

Also I appreciate that the late-night sets aren't starting until after the headliners are finished. Seriously. Last year I hated how Ratatat started in the middle of Modest Mouse's set. The Flaming Lips' late start/end didn't help the already poor scheduling either. I ended up only catching three of Ratatat's songs that evening... Is anyone also particularly excited for a late night hip-hop set by The Roots? ;D

The Purity Ring being up against Metric and Shearwater vs. Shabazz Palaces hurts. I'm fairly undecided between Active Child and Tycho too. Otherwise, I'm happier with this year's schedule than last year's.

I didn't think it was going to be possible to catch any of EitS. Yet, somehow the scheduling worked out. I'm glad I saw Beats Antique earlier this year because I'd have a major conflict between them, EitS, and Girl Talk

Saw this recently and felt that it should be shared here as well.
This is also worth watching:
If it means going to the venue by myself at noon because the rest of my friends are sleeping, so be it. Not a chance I'm missing Beardyman. Should be a helluva comedy/music act.

It'd be nice if the individual day lineups would be released already. Now that the fest is sold out there's little reason for them to be witheld from us.
I am too currently speaking out my ass... Like usual.

Could it have been when the website glitched and listed some artists to play at at 1am (or 2am, can't remember)?

Is it out of the question to think that the each day will start and end a couple hours later this year than previous Sasquatch's? Back when single day tickets were still sold, people who would only go for the day might be less inclined to stay until the end of a late night set. That could also explain why the last day of the fest ends the soonest and lacks a late set, since everyone needs to leave fairly soon after it.
I figured the reason why Sasquatch would close relatively early was because of sound curfews (if those even exist). If the fest this year could start around 2pm and finish at 2:30am I would be very happy.

ON THIS DAY IN HISTORY Catherine and I saw LCD Soundsystem's final performance a year ago today. I was there too. It was beautiful. Do remember the mini glowpocalypse that took place when Dance Yrself Clean had it's synth drop?
