If yall are not opposed to the noise and chaos that will be happening at our camp, I would be happy to have all the people we bring spread out enough to save a huge area for all who show up a little later. If there is a way to take a head count (more importantly a tent/car count) I think the 80 or so folks I come with could probably space our tents and ez-ups far enough to have room for another big group to pile in. Gotta wear that shirt to show who you are though! lol

Zero interest in portland carpools but I am very glad I just read this thread! The warning about searching "fuck this guy" came too late i'm afraid... lol (that was the best post i've seen in my short tenure here!)

My friends bus from Bellingham might have a few spots, might wanna pre-funk for a couple hours before they pick u up tho. they go pretty hard so they will probably be pretty well lit by the time they hit seattle

I think that the compound my fellow bus goons and I have planned might be able to at least handle a good meeting. Our flag pole strobes at night on flags that are 50' high so directions to the site won't be needed and in an unprecedented move this morning at 5am or so I invited Reggie Watts via pm on his facebook to come by our camp after his set and this morning he replied: "Reggie Watts February 11 at 9:09am" Sounds fun, lets do it!!!" so we might have an awesome dj/comedian there at least one night!

This is just a huge break from the "have intent to buy a ticket" rule

I've had a few bachelorette parties on there. It's hard to see other uses but I was glad to see that there are a few! They asked me to put it in, so I did (My driver didn't seem to mid it either)

I'm open to buying and converting more buses if there are enough people to fill it! Portland looks promising (the mrs.'s parents live there and there is an awesome 40'er there on craigslist if I could pay a good chunk of it off with this trip)

I've installed a pole since i took the pick. Oddly enough it is used quite a bit for stability while under way not just the obvious use ;-)

I figured that satin straps would be more comfortable for those being bound, but we could put a sex swing or two in there i suppose. (completely joking, check the party bus post in a few mins for interior pics)

now that whole "the pivot" meeting place with all the over priced food and warm showers makes more sense! the irrigation pivots from there! Side note. I had to lift the huge sprinkler thing as we drove our bus under it last year because it was lower than some of the camping junk on the upper deck on our way out of the camp monday night last year. Hopefully my upper deck can guide it up an inch or two on its own if necissary when I pull out tuesday am.

So if someone in my group can only afford (or is only interested in) goin one day (monday), do they have to just drive themselves? hopefully honda provides a whole shitload of those carbon credits if they do!

we will probly be three buses worth this year, I hope you guys enjoyed being close! we tried to warn everyone as they pulled in (i got there really early and parked way out where cars hadn't gotten near yet) so people would know it would be noisy. this year I think we will shoot for another early arrival and setting up a few rows from the outermost ring of camping (see pic) and cranking up all three systems way before people get there so noone gets there and is surprised when it is loud late. We are hoping for two rows in at about 11o'clock in general camping

fig-we will make sure you can find our buses this year with the 50' flag pole and maybe a luxor style light from my bus (so everyone can find thier way home @ night) drew- I really appreciate that! and my buddy and I are working on making a website for the bus where people can get some info about the trip along with a trip to burningman

we brought my friend's bus last year from north of Seattle and it turned out to be alot of fun so I decided to buy one to bring from this direction. We figured out that the more upper deck space the better (it was kinda crowded inside because everyone had to have all thier crap for the weekend in there) so I built mine the whole length. enough jabbering on tho here's a pic of last year (let me know if you saw us)
