I read it was a different MIA, like an 80's reunion band......... Regardless, I was making a bad assumption, because I wanted to get people to stop bringing up No Doubt as a possible headliner. Shame on me.......... I have no doubt, (Pun!!!) that No Doubt won't be on that line-up tomorrow. They absolutely do not fit the Sasquatch! mold as I've said before. If it does happen, then I guess I'm just a big moron.

Ah i see. Just curious how was the no doubt rumor squashed? I think it was squashed when someone said No Doubt was rumored and a hundred people collectively squashed it.......... Will someone humor me and name one band that has crossed-over from Warped Tour to Sasquatch?

chromeo's pretty good live, I just hope that this tent is easy to get into , and you dont end up missing things on other stages while waiting in line. Also do you think it will go later then the mainstage headliner, I know some festivals do that. I hope going later than the main-stage is their intention. I believe the announcement stated that the Dance portion of the tent starts when it is dark out. We won't have any idea until tomorrow if there will be enough artists to go that late though.

If you step into 1996, you will also find every Sasquatch headliner since 2005. That's a good point........ I just hope (if this rumor is at all true) that the vibe Sasquatch! has had for the past few years isn't ruined by headliners like this....... I'm still having high hopes that the headliners will surprise all of us and be something great that none of us really expected.

I haven't checked this board for like a day, and all of a sudden Jane's Addiction and Nine Inch Nails are the rumored headliners? Did I step into 1996?........... Other than he said/she said is there any legitimacy to this?

I don't think I'll ever see as many zippers and leather pants as I did when Nine Inch Nails and Bauhaus played in 06'.

So.... Limp Bizkit (spelling?) is on tour right now!! Any chance they'll be at Sasquatch!? (THIS IS A JOKE!) God I hope so!!!! Maybe they'll do a tour with Puddle of Mudd and Staind, and they'll happen to stop by Vantage or Ephrata, and I can bail on a day of Sasquatch!

I think the only hard part would be getting the base and stem in. The only thing I could think of doing would be to wrap them in a shirt (depending on how big they are). It just depends on who's at the gate checking people. Sometimes they'll barely check at all, and sometimes they'll check pretty thoroughly.

If Snoop is who he's talking about, I really can't see that happening at Sasquatch! He doesn't seem to fit in there at all. Unless they are taking a whole other direction with this festival. If this Kanye-like performer is true (no offense, but I'm having a hard time believing anything on a message board unless it has a legitimate source). The closest artist to him at Roo, in my opinion, would be Santogold.......... I mean Santigold.

Pitchfork posted some info on a new Sonic Youth album in June. Maybe they could headline (I'm sure someone will verbally abuse me on this post). Just a thought. I mean they have a decent track record.

Hookah?

You can bring virtually anything you'd like to the campgrounds (they don't check your vehicle or anything). They could care less if you had a hookah. I'm bringing mine this year. I'm assuming you meant to the campground?........... Unless you planned on sitting cross-legged in the middle of the pit during Monotonix? If that's the case, I don't know how to help you.

Hmmmmm, sorry. Deerhoof seem like a completely reasonable band for Sasquatch! and they happen to be touring in California mid-May, with no Northwest dates otherwise (as far as I've seen). As for my knowledge of Geography, yes, I have the ability to grasp a map and have sense of direction. I was simply stating, "Hey, look. A good band is on the West coast around the time of this festival. Maybe they will be there." I'm pretty sure the word "discussion" and the phrase "more than likely" have very different meanings. My bad, sorry to hurt your ego. Why is it that anyone who doesn't get their way on this message board goes apeshit on the person that made a comment about their post?? Get over yourself. Everyone goes "apeshit" because we're all a bunch of whiny Northwest babies! To be honest, I didn't think I was going apeshit, just defending my point. I like Deerhoof and they'd be cool to see. I think it's a fairly reasonable assumption that they could possibly be there. If I said anything egotistical, I must have missed it. I'm not trying to make enemies, I'm trying to make friends that I can party with at the campgrounds. Sorry if it sounded dick-headish in any way.

It's not too difficult to sneak in a pint or two when you get down to the venue. As long as you have a few other things in your pack. Or, if I'm as gone as I was last year, you have a good chance of seeing me hand out shots of Patron, Ten Cane, and Belvedere where the cars enter for camping........ As for the alcohol they provide, not worth your cash. The margarita's wouldn't even get a baby drunk (hope that wasn't out of line).

The National has tour dates on the east coast all weekend. Looks like they're out. Bummer! I was just gonna post that.......... Probably out for sure. That's a bummer. A lot of people missed them last year with the stage switchery.

LCD, Digitalism, Bassnectar, Simian Moble, Battles, Lotus, Particle, Shpongle, Pnuma trio, Girl Talk, Holy Fuck, Boombox, Eoto, Pretty Lights... A man can dream cant he... if Sasquatch pulls anyone of these I be very very happy I am still kicking myself in the face for missing Battles last year! Would love to see them.

I have heard this a ton, and want legitimate proof. I love TV on the Radio, but the one time I saw them (Sasquatch 06') they were pretty bad. It was just a ton of noise. I still want to see them at Sasquatch! this year though. Could you imagine if they pulled TVOTR and Animal Collective? They've probably released two of the best albums this past year. Not to mention, Passion Pit anticipated to be there (another amazing recent album).

I'd add Deerhoof and Cornelius to the discussion. They just added tour dates................ 5-08 Mexico City, Mexico - Lunario 05-09 Guadalajara, Mexico - Festival De Mayo 05-12 San Francisco, California - The Fillmore 05-13 Santa Cruz, California - Rio Theater 05-14 Los Angeles, California - Mayan Theater 05-16 Pomona, California - The Glasshouse Why does this make them more than likely?? You realize that this means they're heading SOUTH, right? flying from Mexico into SFO, then heading down towards LA..... wouldn't be surprised if they continued touring in Austin, then headed north. Yes, they're from Seattle, yes they have tour dates in May, but it just doesn't really make sense. I've passed on them at a few different festivals, and never really took the time to listen to them. The new single "The Rake's Song" is a really, really great song though. I'd probably check them out (finally) if there weren't other conflicts.

This is just a guess, but I would think the tent will be pretty damn big. I'd imagine if they add the dance aspect to it, they will get some decent acts. If those acts are performing in the later afternoon, and it's not big enough to hold a lot of people, there could be some drunken rage. So, my guess is big tent, or one of the Yeti or Wookie side-stages is altered into the Comedy/Dance tent (which they hopefully wouldn't do). Just for fun, my hopes/guesses for the tent are Crystal Castles, Passion Pit, Boys Noize, Diplo, Flosstradamus, Friendly Fires, YACHT, Armand Van Helden, and Digitalism (Half of these are probably totally unrealistic). I figure with the comedy section being the first half of the day, they will have 3 or 4 artists in the tent afterwards. Hopefully if Girl Talk is there, he will play the mainstage during the daytime. He's a lot of fun live.
