I'm too lazy to find pictures of it but the setup of the Yeti stage in 2005 was comically bad. It's hard to imagine but the current set up is a huge improvement This was the Yeti in 2008. Yikes... Oh, and let's all "LOL" at the fact that The National played that stage. That stage is way cooler than the one made of plyboard and pipes, was the last attempt at an intimate stage to be honest.

Let me reiterate that I hate my friend for getting married during that weekend. That happens to a friend of mine every year now. He hasn't been able to come to Sasquatch for the past 3 years because of weddings.

Sleigh Bells won't be back this year: Fun note, I've dealt with Sam Kirby before when buying shows; she doesn't give away info a lot. I don't believe they've really been discussed! Nice find! I've never heard of them though. Its the band that the chick from Portlandia is in. The chick from Portlandia? You couldn't go with Carrie from Sleater-Kinney?

Big Sky Brewery? That is somewhere just outside of Missoula? Is that the bar that is above the tunnel? The one that stops serving at like 8pm? I'm not completely familar with the entire landscape, but it sounds like I need to keep a better eye on what is happening/who is playing in that neck of the woods. Thats a drive I'll willingly make from Minot anytime for a good show. It is outside of Missoula a little. I think they have a serving room, but it is a brewery. The shows are right next to the place. They stopped doing shows when a hotel and some other businesses were built near by. There were parking problems, so meow they have scaled down the shows a little. No huge artists. The Wilma Theatre down town also has good shows sometimes. The Knitting Factory has been doing a lot of them lately. thewilma.com/events/I'll honestly say Knitting Factory are a bunch of jags. I know people who work for them and say the same thing about the head office. WE DON'T NEED TECH N9NE 60 TIMES A DAMN YEAR! Also T-Pain/Gym Class Heroes? I'm really not understanding a majority of the shows they book here. The jam band shit I get, but the shitty rap and all that, no clue. Missoula is getting overran with dance shows at ours bars. Shellac played here few months back and hardly anyone knew about it due to the club/bars lack of promotion. It's ridiculous lately to me. I don't know what happened; but Missoula has gone down hill in the last year to me. Young Evils are coming I guess, which I'm down for. I read about new music they recorded; sounds like they got really fun.

I'm hoping for the Country Bears to headline Animal Friday in that case. Easily more popular than Animal Collective.

Joy Formidable announced a new tour with western dates and no northwest. I'm hoping for them.

The abbreviated link reads 'Sting tour dates' and I'm all like SWEEEET. He better headline and end with "Desert Rose".

Why are you guessing something that you think that it has no chance of showing up? -_- Also the reasoning I always see of PJ not playing is their livenation/ticketmaster hatred. They've worked with them in a past and PJ is playing Rock Werchter, which is owned by Live Nation.

I would totally go see Sleigh Bells again. They were awesome last year. They're in Seattle in Feb, it's possible but who knows really.

Can hoping for New Order or Kraftwerk be too much? Sure they're on Ultra Music Festival, but they're the only acts good on there. Sasquatch gets an odd headliner now and then that Coachella had in the past. Either would be cool.

I'm betting on Bjork since she didn't hit Coachella.
Also with Mangum playing Seattle and Portland in April, safe to say he's out the window?
I swear to god, they're going to blindside everyone and have Coldplay and just turn this festival into hell.
Most I hope for is Pulp hits the American festivals, At the Drive In, Refused, TV on the Radio, few others. Our chances at the Coachella acts minus like Bon Iver, seems to get lower and lower by the day.

oh god they're playing Key Arena... what's wrong with them Better question, what's wrong with Seattle not building a better arena/venue to house acts in? They'd have to multinight one of the theatres and why the fuck would they touch the Tacoma Dome? Key Arena can be bad, but it's better than the Tacoma Dome. Also if Radiohead has a really good sound guy, he can get good sound of out anywhere.

I didn't love the Mars Volta set outside of the like 5 times they played actual songs. But At The Drive-In isn't Mars Volta. Few similar guys, but Jim Ward usually has his shit together. Clearly they're all pulling a DFA79 and going for bank. Which means they'll likely just play and not dance around, drink tea, throw shit, and read magazines.

Do you think the Cedric is even allowed at the Gorge after the tantrum he threw last time?[/quote Yeah, they'd be stupid to not have them tbh. I see people on here don't like them too much, but they had a large impact on music when they came out and still have a lot of fans. Not everything on the festival can be what you like. I'd hate to see RHCP but I'd love to see At The Drive In.
