They're a mess live. Still, count on them to draw one of the largest crowds of the fest if they play. never seen them, but thats what I've heard, I imagine that studio sound is difficult to duplicate.

Bonnaroo>Coachella.... although the undercard is decent, not worth a trip to the desert and sunday is weak.

Ugh, seriously. Why is the beer so expensive there? And not very good, either...though Molson will do in a pinch. its a major corprate festival that doesn't allow outside vendors on the property... They should at least sell 24oz. microws for that price. On another note... I think mirmosas are absolutly my favorite festival drink.

Not sure if you guys heard, but Langerado fest got cancelled due to poor ticket sales. Some great bands in their lineup, but ultimately (IMO) it was too schizophrenic to attract a particular audience who are willing to travel to see a particular type of band...it lacked cohesion. I think if Sasquatch wants to beat the odds this year, they have to focus on their strengths - all those great Pacific Northwest bands. I think Langerado got cancelled this year because they moved a camping festival to a dirty city, where people would have to pay for hotels, and drive all f***ed up from venue to venue. does not sound like fun, and Death Cab headlining, really? poor line-up.-- Oh yeah, there's this band called, The Phish, thats having some kind of re-union thingy a couple hours away, on the same weekend, might have something to do with it? Sasquatch will be fine, guaranteed. A great line-up would only be a bonus, even if its mediocre the gorge itself is a major selling point. oh and our line-up pretty much has to be better than coachella, at least the headliners.

right there with you brad, Even a couple of these bands would make me happy, Specifically TLG, Sasquatch isn't a "jam" festival i get that, but Keep It Diverse! I'd ad Galactic to that list, that would be sweet! Oh, and interstate your a pretty big tool for dissing someone's wish list. one of those holier than thou indie rock types-- I'm sure there will be more bands in the lineup that you want to see, as compared to brad, so you should be happy for that.

People "Attend" from all over, and are "from" all over, I was just saying at this point(in time) I think the majority of people on this board are Living in the NW. And yes PJ is very popular world wide, not arguing against that, but I think there is a larger fanbase here, for obvious reasons.

With Sasquatch be a few months away(a few to many) I was just wondering if anyone has any shows they're getting excited for in seattle? Or any recomendations for show to check out in the coming months? A list of Appetizers I suppose.
My next one is the Greyboy Allstars 2/14, if your into funk music I highly recomend them. IMO Karl Denson is the best Saxophonist on the planet and these guys absolutley throw down.

I guess everyone on here must be from seattle or washington because I don't see any other way these people could get stoked on Pear Jam? . In bluesborn defense, going out on limb here but Everyone on this board is in the NW, and Montana while not in the NW, has PJ ties and for that they are huge there also. Not a big PJ fan, but I'd watch them live and they would sell the tickets, they make sense as a headliner. And as a fan of KoL, this would be a down year if they headline.

"I also wish the peeps in premiere would party more and way later!!!"
Not going to happen, thats why people choose premiere(see seaznor), at least thats the only reason I can think of? none of the the other perks are worth the money, unless your some kind of clean freak, like scough here^^, half joking... If you plan on sleeping during sasquatch, instead of getting mad at other campers, bring some earplugs or headphones(or large doses of whiskey).
General camping is the only way to go, imo, and in response to the nasty honeybuckets... they're always nasty, bring your own Toilet Paper, and now for one of the best festival ideas ever........ Bring your own toilet seat! they're cheap and make the honey buckets managable especially for the ladies-- Although be prepared to look goofy toting one around the campground!
