Vampire Weekend has to headline then, unless we've upped the ante on headliners. I don't exactly know how to compare Pitchfork to any festival but last year they headlined at Pitchfork which generally has smaller headliners than Sasquatch (the other two were Feist and GY!BE last year). I wouldn't be shocked if they function as a co-headliner on Sunday along with the Postal Service or something. Sasquatch has a tendency to upgrade the billing of an artist from appearance to appearance. Overall, the crowd received their 2010 subheadlining spot really well, so I bet that Vampire Weekend will headline this year. Solid posts all around Matt but what I was suggesting was an upgrade for them. I'm thinking of '11 when The Flaming Lips and Modest Mouse essentially co-headlined the day. I think upgrading Vampire Weekend on their own to headliner status would be a bit premature even if it's entirely possible. No PNW dates for Beyonce. Definitely headlining Sasquatch. If only.

I'm trying to imagine how big of a shitshow this board is going to be when the knife clue ends up being for knife party. Are they big enough to headline the Friday night show? If two of the headliners have knife in their name then the knife clue would be even more logical to sneak in the video.

Also, you have GOT to change your avatar Frankly I think everyone on here should have Riff Raff avatars. No need to be the rap game Tipper Gore.

If anyone gives me any shit for smoking the devil's lettuce wherever I damn well please this year (not going to happen, never does)... I am going to tell them Nick Offerman said it was okay. ha, yeah, that's exactly where my brain went when i saw the video, too. but on that note, do you actually think that it'll be cool to smoke the devil's lettuce anywhere at sasquatch this year, simply without giving a fuck? i get that the gorge is a private venue and they can regulate as they see fit, but in light of the new state law i'm just curious as to what other's predictions are on this issue. that said, it's never been a problem for me in the past, so no worries either way, i suppose. Someone asked Snacks on twitter and he said he's going to ask the Gorge for something he can pass along on the issue. My guess is that very little will change. Enforcement is already pretty lax so they'll probably just take it away from you if they're feeling especially stingy. Worst case scenario they'll throw out a couple underage people who piss them off.

I have a hard time imagining a better headliner combination than Bjor.Kelly.
It's a shame I can't go this year.

I'm listening to the Pixies right now therefore Sasquatch should get the Pixies. It would be fucking fantastic to see them close things down on Monday. God I hope they play Trompe le Monde in its entirety. Nothing against trompe le monde but I'd be really sad if they did this. It'd be like seeing radiohead and having them play hail to the thief.

It actually looks like it only pushed recording back 9 days so I wouldn't say that it changes their chances of touring very much. In fact, the article said that they had recently talked to reporters about "upcoming events" so my guess is they'll be playing at least some shows this summer.

I really hope they don't waste money on She and Him again. The first time they were there it seemed like it might be worth watching them to see Zooey. It wasn't.

Listening to you idiots talk about Daft Punk is like listening to virgins talk about how everyone else should stop obsessing over sex because it's no big deal. I was there for that shit, and I don't plan to ever stop making people smell my fingers. I'm 100% behind these posts. That shit was magic.

They've already confirmed Sasquatch via their Twitter/Facebook. This album news is old news. I don't understand why they are playing in the banana shack but it's cool that they told us so early

I'm a big fan of both The Stone Roses and blur, but can more than 25% of Coachella attendees name a song from either band that isn't "Song 2"? I understand the prestige associated with booking these acts, but how excited will the crowd be to see "I Wanna Be Adored" - or just a Stone Roses' set in general? "Of course I can name one song, everyone knows 'woo-hoo' "

I love everything about this post but Kanye was actually at Sasquatch in 05 and it was amazing. Lots of talk about how amazing 2010's lineup was today (it was) but I think 05 was still the gold standard lineup. It was only one day and yet at least five of the bands that played that day could headline today.Exactly five could headline today. There is no sixth. I think you're underestimating She Wants Revenge's fan base.

Im not gonna run my ass off to get a good spot watching Kanye or Prince. Sasquatch is not set up in a way that you have to run to get a good spot for a headliner. The main stage is huge and there is tons of room. Even down in the pit if you are along the back there is room. Nobody said that they only watch the headliners but of course we care who they are. Additionally, Kanye and Prince have never been there but you would be a fool to miss them. It seems like you see a band more for your own reputation than because you want to see them.
