I was referring to the avatar post. I also can't believe I forgot why I was content with lurking on this board instead of participating...

All I'm trying to say is that I think a lot of people (myself included) would be really excited to see My Bloody Valentine at the Gorge and at Sasquatch.

also, side note, the d-e-f-i-n-i-t-e-l-y/defiantly thing is super annoying.

I was down on the floor so I must have missed that but I definitely don't recall people staying around for the "MIGHTY FUCKING WEEN" but maybe that's because I left...

That's just not true though... Spiritualized played up against BECK if I remember correctly and I was bummed I missed 'em. Pavement played to a huge crowd. Bob Mould... needs Hüsker Dü.

Please ignore my post count and allow me to respond to this but I definitely think MBV are headline material. They would fit that mold way better than Ween, Pretty Lights, even Massive Attack, etc in my opinion. To say they would get the GBV spot is off too, i think. MBV deserve a headlining spot i feel like. And, again, with a new album coming out and the (poorly released, but well constructed) reissue series that came out this year MBV hype is going to be crazy next year.

Posted this in the 2012 thread. So: Foals. New album in early 2013. European/Australian dates in the winter. North America in the Spring?

There's this phenomenon; Ween fans hate Sonic Youth, and Sonic Youth fans hate Ween. It's like the 'Yr either a Beatles man or an Elvis man' thing. I hate Sonic Youth. Like, that is the most desperately uninteresting music to me in the fucking world, it makes Arcade Fire sound like George Gershwin. I felt the same way for a long time and while there is still a large portion of their catalog that bores me to tears, I've found a huge amount of their music to be really enjoyable. Like the album Washing Machine, most of it is inane bullshit but there are a couple really great tracks on there.

Also, The Thermals are playing the launch party, right? Shouldn't they be listed as expected? Or is there already evidence they won't be there?
