Am I missing something? How can a band with no new material, 10 years after their only album HEADLINE festivals. I like The Postal Service, but talk about the shortest headlining set ever. I foresee a very MGMT-esque set. Huge crowd, people wait through a bunch of songs that they don't know, "Such Great Heights" comes on, the whole hill dances and smiles. End scene. Let's just hope they don't run around singing to a backing track of it and start a food fight...

Damn. Least favorite Sasquatch performance I have seen. I really wanted to like them, too.

Also, am I the only one who finds The Strokes completely boring? No. They are terrible. Thank you.

I heard they were playing the Maine Stage which, more appropriately, will actually be in the fine state of Maine this year. Tough luck, y'all.

Wonk and womp are obsessed with headliners. Fuck headliners, give me that lineup. AND The Rolling Stones? Who the hell wants to see a group of leather hand-bags attempt to play songs that were popular 20 fucking years ago?? The Rolling Stones had their FIRST hits in the mid sixties which is steadily approaching fifty years ago so you really need to learn how to count. Never mind the fact that those songs ( Satisfaction, to name just one) are still well known and loved by a very large number of people. Hand bags? Yeah sure, but don't discredit the staying power of bands as popular as the Stones and their music.
Now, that being said, I would take a super strong midrange of bands over some over the top headliner any day. I'm thinking of Sasquatch 2010 specifically where the headliners were somewhat modest (MMJ, Massive Attack, Ween) and the midrange was amazing (Broken Social Scene, LCD Soundsystem, etc). That sounds a lot more enjoyable to me than a lackluster undercard and Muse or Prince or something.

It does say these will be his last solo dates buuut since he is trying to get to places he's never played, central Washington would probably fit that bill... especially since there aren't any dates there... hmmm...

The lineup party was on Feb 2th last year, will we get acts that have been booked at Wakarusa? Judging by the similarities between Sasquatch and Wakarusa's 2012 lineup www.wakarusa.com/artist-lineup/2012/I'd say yeah, probably.
