"Hey let's not turn this into Canada v.s. America" "Yeah ok, but man they sure had a dumbass as president" OK I'll even it out. Our current Prime Minister is a dumbass. I hate the guy. I would have made that reference but I realize that Canada is about as relevant as a velvet painting of a whale and a dolphin getting it on, so I wasnt sure if everyone would get that reference. I'll admit that I googled that and was super disappointed to find out that it was a Talladega Nights reference and yet no one has created that painting

I've paid $25 just to see Broken Social Scene. Add another 10 and get a whole bunch of other bands I want to see? Yes please. FYF Fest in LA! So stoked. fyffest.com/

I care about food and human, civil and legal rights. I care about environmental issues like too many water bottles and not enough water, over-consumption and it's affect on the world. I care if the things that I buy affect others. I care about my family especially my younger sister and cousins. And I care about music. Music is definitely my life and currently my profession and from the outset most people would say it's the only thing I care about but there's a lot of other things to care about as well. Also, I've been told that I care too much about too many things so I guess you can take that with a grain of salt I don't think you really understand sarcasm... hahaha my bad. I can be overly sincere at times. There are the people who like music but have absolutely zero interest in going to concerts. Now those people I don't understand AT ALL

I totally know the feeling. There's been a ban on the word Sasquatch at work and with some of my friends. :/ Wish more people understood how amazing it is. I book events on campus and it always shocks me how people don't care about concerts the way I do.
I'm incredibly lucky that my boy loves Sasquatch and shows as much as I do. Actually, Sasquatch is what kind of got us together.
Souly, have you gone to any shows with him? When it's this big a part of your life, I understand him wanting to share it.

Was it a big fight or just a regular sized fight? I wouldn't be too quick to assume this fight means there are real problems.
Perhaps it's not that you've changed but that your relationship has and that he's looking for more?

You don't even need to be a Jane's fan in order to appreciate their shows. I saw them with NIN and I don't like JA that much but they blew NIN out of the water.

hahaha, I was only joking around so no worries. If anyone actually thought that you were here to bust us, no one would have said anything.
You're a cool guy for doing this. This is interesting if not informative.

That's what I thought. Maybe next time we should just make sure she goes in a line with a guy because I honestly think that it has to be the same sex, as far as women are concerned, in order for them to make any kind of physical contact. Then again I could be entirely wrong about that assumption... Definitely this. I was the designated pipe smuggler because I'd just put it down my shirt and go in a line with a guy. They'd check my bag and let me pass. Worked everytime. Of course, considering this is the thread with security, I'd never do it again...

One of these days, I'm going to have enough time to drive to Sasquatch and turn it into a road-trip.
There are some great photos there.

That sounds icky. Thanks, Pea! It is nice to be on a board that seems to have a relatively high IQ count on average. Seems to limit the whole 'TITS OR GTFO' contingent. We like being with smart boys! True story, actually This is definitely the best board that I have been a part of.

Aww, just a couple weeks should be fine.
I like safeandwet because he's the first new poster to fuck up, recognize it and know that the smart thing to do is to go back to lurking for a while.

I didn't go to the show (stopped by beforehand but bailed when I saw how absurd the crowd was) but their CD is not much better. I may just be a bitter hipster but I really don't like any of these bands that come out of nowhere and are suddenly all over the radio (see: cage the elephant, young the giant, Fitz and the Tantrums...so basically all X "the" X bands...) I don't know about Cage all that much but I can speak for Young the Giant and Fitz. They haven't really come out of nowhere, I've been hearing about them for a while. Young the Giant is a local band for me and they play down here all the time and gained a reputation as a great live band even before their album came out. They've also been nonstop touring for a couple years so they're definitely putting their time in.

I think I'm seriously considering Coachella next year only because I probably can't go to Sasquatch and want to hang out with you people.
I need to stop being a poor college student!
