Coachella hasn't always had re-entry, fyi. And from what we have gathered, there will not be any back and forth between regular camping and the festival, the same as in past years.

Well, I haven't listened to it in about 2 years, so I guess I just forgot it was admire. I saw them at Coachella, and was surprised at how much I ended up liking it. Could have had something to do with party favors, though... Someone else was at that coachella... Pea? Fox? Did you see them or did you go to Sonic Youth?

Sweet lord I love the AV Club. I see what you did there, but I am not sure you saw it... Really though, quoted for agreement. Complete and total agreement. They have amazing writers, I haven't read a single dud article yet.

Ok, I have to post this. We don't really touch on religion on this board, and I'm certainly not trying to open THAT discussion, but this made me laugh my ass off. Its from an article on the AV club that was written shortly after Chinese Democracy actually came out. The title is: Vaporware No More: 31 lost projects we're hoping to see in the wake of Chinese Democracy, and this is the last entry. 31. The second coming of Jesus Christ "Oh, sure, it isn't a pop-culture event, it's a religious one. Sure. That's what they said about The Da Vinci Code. Let's put this in perspective: The return of Jesus Christ has been promised more than 20 times longer than a Cubs World Series win. Currently, the "New" Testament is even more of a misnomer than "New" Coke, but a third testament is so overdue at this point, Jesus of Nazareth has to be the only superstar who makes Axl Rose look as prolific as Lil Wayne. Still, His fans are an incredibly patient lot; while Lost devotees bitch about the five-month wait between seasons, JC's followers have been reading the same old parables since before paper was invented. To add insult to injury, the Bible promises no less than five times (Matthew 16:28 and 24:34, Mark 9:1, and Luke 9:27 and 21:32, you pedants) that the Big Guy would be coming back during the lifetime of the people hearing Him speak. Still, it's probably for the best; if He ever does return, the faithful won't be able to hear Him speak over the shouts of "OVERRATED!"" I can't help but feel that this is Jerry Grgich that we're talking about here. Which is totally appropriate.

Couple things: 1) Maybe this should get a move since they aren't on the lineup this year. 2) I think that "Its Complicated" is a very interesting first recommendation, haha. Zack (their bass player) told us the story of where that EP's name came from during what is pretty much my only DTGYDSATT moment. Mike Muldoon, who was Bear vs Shark's bass player, and Jason (Portugal's drummer- Also formerly of a short lived Portland band Konami Defense System) were playing Magic together in the green room while they were on tour together. John Gourley walked past and kind of snickered, and Mike Muldoon quickly turned and said "What? Its complicated being a wizard." True story.

1. Animal Collective 2. Tera Melos 3. Sharks Keep Moving 4. At the Drive-in 5. Is a tough one. I'm probably just going to have to give it to video game music, and the bands that play it.

The number one thing there that jumps out at me is Taking Back Sunday, just because John Nolan is with them again and god knows I'd love to see a performance of "Tell All Your Friends."

Interesting. Rest My Chemistry, as far as I'm concerned, is one of my top five favorite Interpol songs. Oh, and the Interpol EP should be on that list, as it houses the best song they ever made.

Can I just say, something I don't think has been touched on here, but Interpol's most recent album is awful. I think I actually made it through it 1.5 times, which amazes me to this day. It is seriously awful. And I actually thought Our Love To Remember was a little better than Antics, so I had high hopes.

I would point to Interpol(s earlier work) as a perfect illustration of this. Music was purely business for them.

Good Charlotte canceled their show recently, yet people are still trying to sell the tickets on craigslist. I emailed a couple of the people to ask if they didn't know the show sold out, or if they are trying to rip people off. No response via email, and the adds weren't removed. I didn't realize there was a lower walk of life out there than a scalper. ... Good Charlotte fans?
