I read through a bunch of these pages, and was surprised to find that nobody mentioned Hannibal. Definitely my favorite new show this season. Anybody else give it a shot?

Drew! I must know if you've read A Memory of Light! Of course I have. Having had some time to reflect, these last three books have been shit, but the three before that were also shit but for other reasons. I read fourteen books because the first five were awesome and I had to know how it ended, and I finally found out. I was satisfied. But, Egwene I totally cried at that part. Most epic book I have ever read. No disappointment for me whatsoever. A great end.

Honestly though, my reading consumption has dropped to dismal levels in the last few years and I definitely need to change that. I went on a Judy Blume kick a couple years ago as I'd never really read many of the "classics" before. That was really fun. Yeah, the last one that I went through was Garth Nix's Old Kingdom trilogy, which is probably my favorite bit of YA. I read The Giver about 6 months ago in a quick little burst, really enjoyed that. Ever read that Old Kingdom stuff? (Sabriel, Lirael, Abhorsen)

Yeah, I definitely already knew, no worries there. What are some of your favorite YA books?

That's one that I didn't ever finish. My drama club friends and I were freaks for that shit in the first two seasons, we watched it together every week. I think I was like, a sophomore when it started airing, so it was perfect timing for me to love it. Plus I really loved Adam Brody as Seth.
I also have a huge soft spot for YA stuff, really doesn't help that I get to take home free books from work all the time, haha.

Eh, its just the thing at the top of the pop culture zeitgeist so I think I might as well check it out. Plus, from what I can tell, it seems like the things that some people hate about it are the same things other people love about it.

I'm really not joking, unfortunately... I developed an unhealthy love for that show in its first season, and while that died about 3/4 of the way through the second for a few reasons, I still read writeups of the episodes from time to time. Nevertheless, I was still surprised that that was the way they chose to end it. Fucking idiots.
Anyway, maybe its time that I start watching this Girls show.

I'm a masochist that sticks with all my shows to the bitter, bitter end. I'm looking at you, Gossip Girl.) Oh god, how much did you HATE the end of Gossip Girl? I could not believe that that was the story they went with. Ugh.

The name sounds like a character that should be in Game of Thrones. The Karstarks and the Banharts. Certainly has a ring to it.

Fuck I love Veronica Mars but I feel like this might be too little too late. A few years ago sure, but now a movie would feel weird. I'd still go see it though. A+, would read three more times.

Nah, weed is decriminalized in most places anyway. If you're willing to admit you use in a public forum, I'm fine with it. It's the other, much less legally ambiguous substances I'm referring to when preaching discretion. Does this mean.... Chops thread?
