Wait what Uranus is a real stage? Like someone looked at the names of Sasquatch, Bigfoot, Yeti, and Chupacabra (RIP Banana Shack) and said "you know what this list needs... a cosmic gas giant. Yuppers. Uranus it is!"
I'll be honest with you nick and i highly doubt it they saw uranus as a cosmic gas giant but more of a joke... "Hey where you at? " - friend at bigfoot stage "hehe uranus" - friend at uranus stage. Both giggle uncontrollably.
Also geesh I hate to ask such noob questions but i'll be coming from Texas and I'm so down for a brew trade... i'll bring some good Deep Ellum beer in exchange for some WA or OR beer..
Pea discovering that missing flag is both the best and worst thing to happen. It doesn't mean we're getting a new headliner. Like it or not, Major Lazer is headlining Sasquatch 2016 along with The Cur, Florence +the Machine, and Disclosure. More acts will be added, but not a headliner. Last year it was pretty obvious a headliner would be added above Of Monsters and Men because both Lana Del Rey and Ryan Adams were listed before them on the lineup poster. (Don't tell me Pavement was listed aboveWEENbecause that was a different circumstance. The same thing might have happened with Nine Inch Nails over Ben Harper, but I can't remember now.) Several artists will be added. I would expect them to be bands like CHVRCHES, Battles, or Charles Bradley, not a headliner.
And then I would die. And then I would attend Sasquatch as a ghost. Ghostsquatch 2016.

Sometimes someone is born in 1994 and then I am like woah dude I feel old.
Camping at Sasquatch is basically out in an open pasture type situation. It is in a tundra so there are no trees, just scrub brush and sky. Just make sure to bring enough water and food, sunscreen, and a canopy or tarp if you have one for cover. It can be crazy in District 9 (general camping) but I love it. I love walking around and talking to people and having larfs. It can get really loud at night depending on where you are so some people like to bring ear plugs. I personally hate ear plugs but I never have trouble sleeping at Sasquatch. By the end of the day I am so assed out it is easy. The gorge is the most beautiful place you will ever see, so I highly recommend it.
