It's cool, dude. I think maybe I was so agitated because I hate that movie so much.
I haven't seen it in about 20 years, but it was that one PG13 movie that I was allowed to watch as a youngin. So it made a weird sort of impression on me. Sorry this is how we came acquainted, because looking back there are no redeeming qualities about that movie except for little Dave Chapelle
I love Mel Brooks but that movie annoys the shit out of me. I am not sure what to cal you anymore since you changed your name.
He was referring to Childbirth, which is the band that's playing Sasquatch and has members from Chastity Belt and Tacocat. Both bands definitely have a feminist emphasis, so it makes sense that they choose names that are much more likely to invoke an averse reaction from men.

I worked for Con-way for eight years and they were fucking terrible. Which is why it was not a surprise when I found out they got bought out recently. I just got a statement in the mail today regarding the stocks I had obtained from my benefits program, and they are cashing them out!
SASQUATCH HERE I COME
Sasquatch magic rears its head once again. I am just so freaking happy right now.
Todd Terje is honestly the bee's knees. He's quickly becoming my most anticipated act and none of my friends like him so it looks like I'm hitting up Terje by myself #alonesquatch
No one is ever alone at Sasquatch now that we have each other. The common meeting placed is to the left of the soundstage and I would venture a guess that you can find one or more board members there at all sets.
The first and only time I saw them was in 1998 in Salem on the OK Computer tour.
Oh god, did they play at the Armory or something?
Yes, indeed. Really incredible show, I found a setlist.

Yeah, but it's definitely going to affect their bottom line. (And this whole conversation has been in american dollars.) I don't see the harm in discussing the problems with Sasquatch, loving it doesn't mean you give it a free pass on everything.
That's why I made the sorry canadians comment. I guess I just have yet to find any reason to prevent me from not going to Sas, or to even complain about it. I'm a minority there, clearly.
Dude, this group is Sasquatch. We are the hugest Sasquatch fans, we talk about it all the time. It is why we all know each other. It is why, just two years ago, we had a caravan of over 20 cars just in our group. It is unfair to act like we are like the people on the FB page bitching about it. The prices have skyrocketed for no ascertainable reason, and that is that. Live Nation is most certainly taking advantage of people and there is nothing wrong with saying that. Constructive criticism is not the same as complaining. People aren't just saying, "meh Sasquatch sucks," they are raising legitimate concerns. That said, most people here will be attending. So please do not act like a person cannot love Sasquatch while still pointing out the issues that it has.
This is amazing. I am so jealous but also so very happy for you.
Definitely would not have been possible with a little (A LOT) of help from my friends. My BFF in Geneva makes a lot of money and really wanted a festival partner, so he gifted the festival ticket and put me on a payment plan over the next several months for the flight :-) I feel like the luckiest fucking person on planet Earth at the moment.
ALSO, holy shit the Vancouver BC hack literally cost half as much as flying from Seattle.
Well, this is great. I understand about help from friends, as that is what has enabled to me get to Colorado next month for Ween.
