"That's right everyone, back off!" or how about being friendly? Thats what normal people would do.

Haha, well isn't this is entertaining! If I have such underdeveloped social skills, how come I have so many friends... hey everyone we made a big mistake here, time to back-off this guy is popular Hah, and I can tell you are really good at making friends. Like I said before, I really don't give a shit what you think. Allowing me to post my opinions on Das Racist without giant narrow minded dousche(s) in the way would make for a nice welcome to newcomers. Comprende?

That would be the most disappointing list of headliners I could conceive of. Worse than '09, which was fucking awful. I'd take Soundgarden over Pearl Jam ANY day, but that's because I can't distinguish Pearl Jam from Seven Mary Three (nor do I care to try to do so). Also: ok, you're a Pearl Jam fan, I get that, but come on dude PJ fans are shitsticks. I fucking love Primus but I'll tell you without batting an eye that Primus fans are some of the meanest, most unpleasant people on the planet. You should be able to do the same, those people aren't your friends. I'd pay to see it. I'd pay to see Primis again too. Bands of that kind of calibur would draw in crowds quick. And the massive amount of money is all of what festival organizers would care about, so they would be pretty happy. And I get what you're saying about crowds, and understand that being a fan can kind of blind you when it comes to shitty behavior from your neighbors, but I've been in my fair share of horrible crowds and can't really find anything negative to say about Pearl Jam's. But it's entirely possible that I've just been very lucky, and I'm sure you have reasons just as valid as mine. At this point I've come to accept that assholes can pop up anywhere, and I'm not about to waste time worrying about it. I actually think it's more about the undercard anyway; if they could sell out last year than people clearly aren't banking on big name acts when it comes to paying for a weekend pass. And I agree with you about my theorized NW lineup being pretty shitty and devoid of variation, just trying to put some ideas out there. I think we can all agree, especially after last year, that Sasquatch is nothing if not unpredictable when it comes to headliners. For the record, my real guess for the headliners is something like Arcade Fire/Flaming Lips/Phoenix, but it changes all the time. It's really killing me how little we know.

majority of indie rock listeners are in their teens. This is not even close to true. GET THE FUCK OUT OF HERE Show me your evidence. I bet the majority of the crowd arrivimg at sasquatch are either teenagers or in their early 20's. Because everything else is too "dad rock" right?

Yet you've been here half the time he has with the same amount of posts. Should you be talking? You're obviously a fucking idiot who just recently became aware of the internet. Quit ruining a good thread with your underdeveloped social skills and bad taste in music. Haha, well isn't this is entertaining! If I have such underdeveloped social skills, how come I have so many friends... that aren't online? Hmm, thats kind of weird! You don't know what you're talking about, bud. Before I came along, you were the most hated person on this board. I know because I have "lurked" here for quite some time. You should be thankimg me that this board's whole two other users (aside from the welcoming moderator) hate me now. Go kill yourself. Good show you're putting on! To stay ON TOPIC, I now believe Das Racist have some decent songs thanks to the guy who posted the video links, although, it doesn't really matter because sasquach have already won me over by booking the best band in the festival's history, which is the Foo Fighters. Because of that, they now get my money. After all, thats what its all about, right? Now to be off topic: fuck yes! Seahawks!

After a week of intensive, holiday-themed, down-home Family Style Group Therapy at a million dollar vacation home in the mountains of Santa Cruz, negotiating the BART on New Years Eve and then having the person who has been stalking me since high school intentionally overdose on my parents' lawn, I'm feeling mildly cranky. Still, no way in hell is Blue Screen Life better than Pinback's S/T. I'll be honest, I haven't listened to much of their self titled effort but I'm sure its good. I Just don't picture anything topping the song "Penelope"

God if we have Foo AND Pearl Jam the asshole contingent is going to be off the charts. You act as though they've invited a bunch of meatheads into camp. This wouldn't be anywhere near ozzfest or pain in the grass. You'll get your precious indie bands.

Whatever dude, the three of you are are so quick to judge, its just damn funny. Typical message board treatment of the "noob". I could really care less what you think. Its a message board, i post my oponion. Get over it. Should I be happy I made that sort of impact on you three? Cbat, your arguement on demographic is invalid when 80% of sasquatch artists are indie rock and majority of indie rock listeners are in their teens. Nothing against indie rock, but just saying. Sasquatch booked HIM one year so anything is possible.

it's been tough getting in a whole 2 posts a week but somehow I survived. I'm also shockingly not offended that I got called a casual LMFAO listener. none of those artists will play Sasquatch. Sasquatch is not just indie artists but all of the artists appeal to a demographic that is not just 16 year old girls (owl city being the one exception that comes to mind) Are all of your posts made at 2:30am on weekend nights? Funny, i've seen more than two posts a week from you in the short time I've been here. This must be a more recent obsession of yours? I'm only suggesting that you be more educated on LMFAO before making a bold statement like that... And have you actually listened to Asher Roth mixtapes? You'd know that he appeals to the right demographic. To counter your point, none of those artist have been or will ever do warped tour either except for maybe shwayze and hollywood undead (which I'm not even sticking up for). I don't care much for Far East Movement either. I was being a little sarcastic and I knew they would better express my insult to Das Racist. So Fuckin' lighten up, buddy. You took the shit I said way too seriously.

cbat, over 200 posts! Good god you must just spend all day on here. You can't maintain a life and post on a message board over 200 times over the course of two years. Yet you've been here half the time he has with the same amount of posts. Should you be talking?

Yeah, wanting to ban a guy for forming an opinion. That says a lot about your character. you're new here so I'll just give you a heads up, most people here aren't nice when you're posting your dream warped tour lineup LMFAO, Asher Roth, Hollywood Undead, and far east movement are all awful but what really tipped your post over the edge was 1. the idea that schwayze has any talent and 2. that he might be at sasquatch p.s. if LMFAO and lil john came and played Shots on repeat for an hour I'd be there 1) I'm quoting the only "not-nice" person I've ran into on here. 2) 200 some odd posts and being on a message board since '09 isn't really something I'd openly take pride in nor does it really make you an expert. I'll take my advice from those with actual credibility. Thanks, but no thanks. 3)I've never suggested any of those bands should be played at sasquatch but would be generally prefered over Das Racist. Even if one of those other groups were picked to play sasquatch should you be surprised? Really? It's more than just Indie label artists. 4)Warped tour is and will always be shit. Three of those acts are better than that. 5) You're an idiot. 6) Typical answer for the casual listener who's heard of LMFAO. Shots is among one of the worst by them and only serves as a purpose for a nightclub.

Ok, so I am taking a little of what I said back about Das Racist after finally hearing two good songs by them: "rainbow in the dark" and "You Oughta Know". Plus they earn points for crediting B-Real and dissing T-Pain

As far as modern/mainstream hip hop goes off the top of my head: Kanye West, Atmosphere, Kid Cudi, Lupe Fiasco, T.I., Asher Roth, Eminem, LMFAO, Blue Scholars, Jay-Z, Aesop Rock. I gave Das Racist a five song chance but could not get into them. They can throw them on Monday nights lineup for all I care.

Youtube'd a couple of songs and I just could not get into them. I'd take LMFAO, Asher Roth and even shwayze over them any day of the week. Hell, Far East Movement or even Hollywood Undead would have been better! Das Racist is a way better version of all these artists You my friend are on crack. These guys lack the flow and beats of good hip hop. I'm not saying you should like all those groups i listed because they are nothing spectacular but Das Racist makes all of them look like they should be winning grammys.

That... that is the worst fucking lineup I have ever seen. Even with one or two decent bands in there... Jesus Christ, I sure HOPE you're a troll because if you suck THAT bad I don't even know what to say to you. Except fuck off. "Let's get back to songwriting the way it's supposed to be... like Badly Drawn Boy and Tilly and the Wall!" Didn't you get the memo, dude? Badly Drawn Boy only didn't suck for approximately five minutes, and only in England. Bright Eyes is the worst band in the history of forever. The Faint, Helio Sequence, Yeasayer and Her Space Holiday all fit your description of bands that have all producers and no musicians. Tilly and the Wall is horrible twee bullshit, any hipster douche will vote for Spoon, Sea Wolf is a shitty Shins knockoff, Blitzen Trapper bears the curse of having written one incredible song and roughly 40 terrible ones, Dr. Dog have sounded like shit since 'We All Belong', Stars is for teenage lesbians, Beck is a tired has-been, and Beach House/Mimicking Birds/Warpaint/Napoleon Skywalker will probably all be at Sasquatch '11 and be entirely forgotten by Sasquatch '12. Fucking good thing for you there's such a thing as Pitchfork or you wouldn't have any fucking clue what to listen to, huh. Spinnin' yer dad's old Blue Oyster Cult and Skynyrd records? Getting drunk on Coors light and proclaiming Satriani "A GOD!"? Right? Am I close here? AM I CLOSE YOU FUCKER? Leave the board and never come back, please, ok? Well, atleast you didn't bash Pinback in this post. I could give a shit about seeing any of those other bands... Except for Beck! Even if his last good albums were Sea Change and Midnite Vultures

So what it all boils down to is that I expect to see the band in Washington sometime this year, and Sasquatch would make as much sense as a solo show. On top of that, they'd likely be a unique 2011 festival headliner (unlike, say, the extremely likely Arcade Fire and possibly Foo Fighters.) Aside from me agreeing with your point about PJ, i must point out that The Foo Fighters haven't played a NW festival (that being Deck The Hall Ball) or the gorge since around 1999-2000. They've been glued to stadiums like the shitty Key Arena nearly everytime they've come to Wa in the past decade. Usually Europe and Austrailia were fortunate to have them at festivals. I think that alone warrants a really unique treat at Sasquatch... Especially for a FF fanboy.

Team Sleep is FARRRR superior to pinback Meh meh meh... i laugh at your foolishness Sure, if you are into the mostly Chino on vocals thing. That being said I'd take Deftones over Team Sleep any day of the week! Who's the more foolish, those with an educated opinion or a kid with a biased opinion?
