Oddly enough, it actually was a blueberry muffin that inspired my username 5 years ago, or whenever it was that I first started to post on forums.

I would be willing to bring them to you Souly. I'm not trying to say chewedmuffin isn't trustworthy, I am just giving you another option if you happen to need one. I am going to try to get to the campground around 10am on Friday. To be quite honest, I doubt I would trust someone with 14 posts. At the very least, I would trust someone with 900+ posts more than someone with 14. I just thought I would offer in case s0uly ended up with no other options. Thanks for not automatically assuming I'm untrustworthy though!

Is there anyone in the US who will let me ship my glowsticks to them? Every cheap seller I find either only ships to the US or wants 50 dollars to ship to Canada when it's free to ship in the US. Boo. I'm willing, but as I hardly ever post, and no one knows me, I realize how unappealing shipping them to me would be. I'm driving to the Gorge on Friday morning, and would be happy to meet up and give you them. If you don't find anyone else (I'm fairly certain one of the more frequent posters here will offer), PM me and we can talk to figure it out. Good luck!

I'm hoping that Explosions in the Sky will be a late addition to the lineup this year, but is that a bit too far-fetched? They have a new album coming out on April 26th.

Name: Kevin What my user name represents/means: I can't remember any other usernames when I make them, so I stick with this one I've had since 6th grade. Favorite Bands: Radiohead, Macklemore, Paolo Nutini, Andrew Bird, RHCP, Mumford and Sons, Explosions in the Sky, Bon Iver, The Shins, The Kooks, Passion Pit. My All-Time Favorite Artist: Ahhh... Andrew Bird or Paolo Nutini, can't decide. First Concert Attended: Lily Allen (hah) Last Concert Attended: Macklemore (fucking insane crowd) All time Favourite Concert: Close tie between Mumford and Sons at the Paramount and Passion Pit at the Moore! All time Favourite Festival: Bumbershoot '09--only festival other than Bumbershoot '10 that I've been to Sasquatches Attended: None! Sasquatch Wishlist: Paolo Nutini... can't really think of anyone, to be honest.

How much is it? I might try and go to that. Deceptively cheap. Tickets are listed at $16, but after Ticketmaster's fees, about $28? I think that's around the price, I bought three so I'm not positive.

Tokyo Police Club are definitely one of my favourite bands. They are really fun live, and sound fantastic. There isn't one song on their new album that I'm not in love with. Please go!! You won't regret it! I'm seeing them here on April 18th. I'm definitely going now. I haven't listened to their old stuff, but I've been loving everything on Champ so far. Thanks for convincing me! They were the first band that I saw at a festival, and they blew me away. I had never listened to them before, and they didn't have very much material released, but it was awesome. I'd recommend it. When is the show? Well I got tickets, I'm pretty excited now. It's on April 22nd, at Showbox at the Market.

Anyone listen to Tokyo Police Club's new album? Also, has anyone seen them live? They have a concert in Seattle that I'm considering, but I want to know what people think of them live.

OK, I'm not posting this to start up another argument about how much I like Bright Eyes. I think you all know how much I like them so I don't think you need to hear that anymore. I do want to suggest a couple songs to those of you who might not know very much of their stuff. This is also to show those of you that think C. Oberst is just a whiny singer that he doesn't just scream and whine in all his songs like you think he does. So if you are interested may I suggest: Take it Easy (love nothing): give this one a chance because the layers build and build as the song goes on Light PollutionSmoke Without Fire: a good little folk song duo with M. Ward Tourist Trap: a really slow song, but just imagine yourself sitting around a campfire in the desert somewhere. I think this shows their range and the fact that not every song is Conor just screaming about drinking, dying, or whatever else you think of him. If you don't like these songs, that's cool. If you've never really heard Bright Eyes then maybe you'll find something you enjoy in these songs. Cheers. Thanks for this, I like Smoke Without Fire. I've never listened to Bright Eyes before, and despite all of the Conor Oberst hate and "WRONG KID DIED" stuff flying around, I figured I'd give it a shot.

Mister Heavenly was awesome by the way. Michael Cera was pretty good on bass too. I ended up meeting him after the show which was awesome. Also Pepper Rabbit was also amazing. Passion Pit was pretty good too. I wasn't super impressed by Mister Heavenly. Seeing Michael Cera was awesome, and he was just as awkward as I would have expected (especially when the strap to his bass came off), but I didn't enjoy them as much as I thought I would. As for Pepper Rabbit, I didn't like their first song (something about red wine) but I liked the rest of their set. I thought We Barbarians were better than the other openers, to be honest. And yes, Passion Pit was pretty good too. Being in the balcony ended up being great for the light show, not so great for the dancing. Edit: Whoops, looks like you saw them in Portland? I didn't catch that. I was at their show in Seattle on the 30th. So I guess some things could've been different.

Out of curiosity, do bands often wrap up a tour on another continent and play a show a few days later? I've never understood the stamina of some of these bands.

I'm not really sure what kind of music gets shit on this forum, having only lurked for a week or so, but I'd enjoy seeing Mt. Desolation come out to the festival this next year. They opened for Mumford and Sons on their tour and were pretty good. A group made up of members of Keane, Mumford and Sons, occasionally the drummer from The Killers, and others. A side-project, I guess. www.youtube.com/watch?v=yoEF0EPhWiQwww.youtube.com/watch?v=x3glJq-dTOk&feature=related
