Geno, I tried to add you on Steam but couldn't find you? I typed "Geno098" into the player search but nothing came up. I've never added anyone before, so I could be doing it wrong.
I ended up buying The Witcher (the first one) and Fallout: New Vegas in the most recent sale. Had never played either, so I'd like to beat them before moving on to the next in each series. I think together they set me back like $8. When I finally get around to buying Skyrim it will be the end of me.
I'm so mad I missed the boat on that Newegg deal. I slept in that day and by the time I saw the e-mail it had already sold out. I had even heard it was coming! Drat!
My rig:
ASUS P8P67 PRO Motherboard Intel Core i7-2600K Sandy Bridge 3.40GHz (quad core) 8GB DDR3 RAM XFX Radeon HD 6990 (4GB) 90GB SSD (primary) 1TB + 2TB HDDs (secondary + tertiary) Windows 7 - 64 bit 22" Samsung SyncMaster LCD Display Razer keyboard and mouse
Bought it lightly used from a stoner on Craigslist back in September. He had it build in April for $3000 at NCIX. I got it from him for less than half of that.

Ha! Rusty, that is hilarious!
I thought this was pretty funny the first time I saw it on TV:
... until the end.

No, Geno! Drive twice as far to Vancouver (BC) and pay double for a show at a venue no more than half as decent!

Just picked up my Justice tickets to the Vancouver show in April. For those interested, the pre-sale code is the last word in the title of their new album. Enjoy!

Perfect hitters only swing at strikes. An ace doesn't make the other guys in their rotation more productive pitchers, but a stud in the lineup makes others around him more productive hitters. It's been a while since I seriously paid attention to MLB, but I seem to remember pitching match-ups used to be a pretty big deal. As in, managers would often manipulate the pitching rotation in order to have their ace face the ace of a competing club. And in a similar vein they might try and arrange it so they had their aces throwing when they played against better opposing teams. Now, this of course doesn't mean a pitcher would start consecutive games, but I always got the impression managers would look ahead in the schedule and start their pitchers strategically. If this is true, doesn't it stand to reason the non-ace pitcher in the rotation have it easier and would potentially be more productive? I'm not trying to get involved in the MVP debate, because while I actually agree that in most cases (Verlander inclusive) pitchers shouldn't be MVP's, I have no stats to back it up.

I would never seek out this beer, but if it were available where I happened to be I have to admit I'd be tempted.

... wonderful.
They've definitely booked a lot of LOUD acts recently (deadmaufive, Skrillex, Bassnectar) which is a relatively new thing, and I was hoping they had made some upgrades, but that's too bad.
Makes me cringe a bit harder to part with $60 for this ticket, but fuck it, it's going to be an awesome show. And if by some how they absolutely suck at Coachella I'll have foresight on my side and sell the thing. For the record, I can't imagine this happening.

Cross was a major Cross-over hit. The album has much more of a rock structure, so it appealed to people who don't listen to EDM. This is a great way to describe Cross. It took me a long time of listening to it and loving it before I realized how rock-oriented Justice is.

I'm still confused to why Cross is such a big deal to people. I have a hard time finding anything unique or interesting to the point of justifying all the praise it gets. Nice. Couldn't let this one slip by unappreciated. I just got my presale codes in the mail and realized what the dates could possibly mean for Coachella, but of course this news was already broken on here yesterday. I love their first album, but agree that it was definitely over-amped by most. I also really like their second album and think that its poor reception is due to it being such a departure from what their first sounded like and what people expected. Much like MGMT's first vs. second albums. Cross was loaded with dance hits and AVD seems a little thin in that respect. I saw them tour for Cross and they absolutely melted faces. No matter what you feel about AVD, if you like anything they've done at all I'm sure this will be a tour not to miss. Even if you're in Van and have to put up with the god awful PNE Forum. I haven't been there for a few years, though. Has anyone been more recently? The sound used to be horrendous and with the acoustics of that building I have a hard time believing it has improved much.

I game only on my PC. I just bought a new rig that crushes games on their highest settings. Funny thing is since buying it I've kinda got out of gaming for the time being, but I know I'll get back into it eventually. It comes in waves for me. Steam is having one of their seasonal sales right now. Some pretty sweet daily deals to check out! store.steampowered.com/

Seriously, what a first game back for Sid the Kid.
Tonight's game is in 2nd intermission and so far no action from any Penguins. Will Crosby save the day?
EDIT: nope.

It's pretty funny.) confused. who is Strombo? i've never even heard of the guy and already i'm kinda hating him. EDIT - Nevermind... en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_StroumboulopoulosThat guy is awesome... except for the facts that A) he stole my hat and B) I hate him.
