So weird, a friend sent that to me like yesterday. Gotta agree, it looks like an awesome time.

Dance tent to main stage is probably the furthest and still is only a couple minutes walk. You should have no problems getting between stages.

Patrick Watson is really amazing live. If you like his albums this is defiantly a must see.

I'm sure it's not going to be 100% solar powered. Here in Vancouver one of the local ski mountains just installed a huge wind turbine to "power" the mountain. It only accounts for a small portion of the power in reality and is rarely even spinning. Basically a huge tourist attraction and a way to look like you care with out really doing anything. I'd bet this isn't much different.

I've seen them a few times and honestly my favorite stuff is off their first album (Waiter: "You Vultures!") though they rarely play much off it. After that I really like the Satanic Satanist/Majestic Majesty (same songs just Majesty is all acoustic). Honestly all their albums are really good, but they will mostly play stuff of the most recent 3ish I'm guessing.

So stoked now the posters are out. If anyone else goes to Bumbershoot as well, they have a poster exhibition every year called Flatstock that has many of the artists that make Sasquatch posters there, so I have seen a large number of there for sale there (as well as a tonne of other sick posters).

Woah, thats what I did two years ago. Unfortunately our grad was on the first day so we had to miss it, and were completely sleep deprived for the second day.

I don't have first hand experience, but I have heard or read that before.

Yeah, we defiantly have that regulation, but I think it is actually like 35% must be Canadian based music though. And Tegan and Sarah get a lot of play on the local indie station, but not really any on the other stations. I's say most people would have at least heard of them though.

I'd assume it was mainly so Public Enemy can headline the wookie instead of being stuck behind deadmau5.

In my opinion, Waiter: "You Vultures!" is by far their best album. Although after that you are pretty much spot on. Its a shame they don't play as much of their older stuff live.

While I think you guys did a good job on the schedule, I really hope you are wrong about the Wookie stage. The way you had it before, starting and ending earlier, had very minimal conflicts for me. But since you moved everything back there is a bunch of bad conflicts, for me at least. I really hope this isn't the case, but it does seem pretty possible.

I agree. I don't know anything about them in actuality, but its a cool concept at least and would be awesome if done well. I wasn't planning on seeing the low anthem either way.

Yeah, I don't hate their music, but Silversun sounded awful.

Merch?

There is both Sasquatch merch and merch for the bands. The Sasquatch merch is pretty average price if I remember correctly, $25 sounds about right for a shirt. The stuff for the bands is whatever they bring with them and I think the prices might be set by the band because they range from about $20 for smaller bands to $40-50 for headliners sometimes, but not always it seems.

Just got back a bit ago and you were right. I expected a lot and was still blown away. All those lazers kinda tripped me out though...
