last year was my first year, and absolutely loved it (with the exception of food/beer prices and the no in/out policy). i plan on going again this year, depending on line-up (coachella's just didn't do it for me this year). i would love to see skerik, in any form, at the gorge!!! he is from seattle, so he's known well locally. also, he has toured/performed with many musicians...roger waters, les claypool, galactic, and pearl jam to name a few. ive seen him in several groups, and know for a fact that he is a phenomenal saxophonist, no matter what group he is with.
hope he gets added!!!
oh, and side note...when i was leaving sasquatch last year, i ran into him and his daughter at the seattle airport. said whats up, and chatted for a couple, before we got onto the plane (we were on the same flight). here is a pic i was able to get.

According to the main website, a merchandise store was supposed to open soon. Than was June 3. Unless I'm blind, I do not see the link for a merchandise store. Anyone have any info? I would like to purchase a few items I didn't have money for, due to the expensive beer.
i cried and smiled at the same time. cried because i just watched $440 disappear with the click of a button. however, i smiled at the same time because the funds were used for two tix to see roger waters' the wall in dallas on 11/21
greetings, emptyfox. i am staying at the samesun hostel on granville, i think, while im there. as for getting around, i will be using public transit. i have heard of stanley park, and will prob be doing that. i also want to cross that bridge that's like north of town.
as far as what i want to do...im really just looking to relax, people/culture watch, and if there is anything that catches my fancy, then stop on by. i know i do want to find some of that "bc bud" and veg out. i would like to do some drinks at night, but not in at "club" setting, but rather a nice pub/bar.
so i am flying from san antonio, tx to seattle, wa on the 26th in the am. i am planning on catching a train to vancouver, bc and staying at a hostel until the morn of the 28th. i'd be down to have a meet-up/drink if anyone might be interested. or perhaps, if someone has advice on things to do while visiting, let me know.

i may be interested in this option. currently i have a ride to the gorge from seattle airport. however, after reading the website, it states that camping passes are only good for up to four people. i am meeting two sets of roommates, with me being the fifth wheel. i have emailed sasquatch directly, and have yet to hear from them. depending on what they tell me will determine if i would take this route. will let you know asap.
hey, no prob. yeah, i was just in houston two weekends ago, but really just for friday night (the 26th). didnt really do much except get dinner, and a few drinks in the rice university area. i guess that would answer your question...yes, i am def older than 21. actually, will be 29 on the 21 of this month. i am actually going by myself to sasquatch. however, i have found a ride from seattle to the gorge, and back. although, things might not workout since a camping pass is only good for four people. basically, i will have a ride to the gorge, but i would be the fifth wheel, and therefore have to camp in a separate spot...good thing i have my own camping pass.
anywho, i dont know when i will be in houston again, seeing as how i generally go to austin for shows, but ill give you a heads up.
Amie, after reading the camping rules, I might have to keep my ticket. Supposedly, the camping pass is only good for up to four people. I have to find out how many will actually be in our group, but I think I'd be the fifth person. I'll let you know asap what the situation is. If it turns out I can't sell it, I would be more than happy to share my space.
