hey jigawig. sorry for the late reply. haven't been on this board for awhile. we probably missed you coming to houston already? :x maybe we could arrange something for later? you mentioned maybe we could all meet up for drinks, does this mean you're over 21? are you going to sasquatch alone or with people?
Three day passes are on sale again. I can't help but thinking this means the festival is not close to selling out, despite what we've heard.
i can't help but be kinda really pissed to know they're back on sell b/c i bought each day individually for a higher price. you maybe not think 70 bucks is a big difference but... in my situation it kinda is. oh well... at least i'm going!
so i agree with you though, knowidyuh. in fact, a couple days ago, i actually tried to google if there was anything said about the festival NOT being sold out yet. i think it was a selling tactic. i feel betrayed! :p
what the who what! 238? every time i've checked today it's only been as low as 298 do you have some voodoo magic working for you guys?
p.s. (odd question i know) you wouldn't happen to know anybody in houston that wants to buy 2 turntables with mixer and some records, would you? we're trying to pawn them off to help pay for plane tix =D
more specifically Houston. or even places like Austin, San Antonio, etc. The request probably sounds weird but my gf and I want the ability to meet the people we'd be sharing rides with beforehand. You know, to avoid meeting at the airport only to realize we're with psychotic crazies who will sell our organs on the black market.
we're looking to share some kind of ride, ie splitting a car rental; other ideas welcome.
me too tangipoo!! i'm planning on getting a rental in Seattle. You going to be flying with all your camping gear? I'm going to pack what I can in 2 bags and buy the rest at Wal-Mart or something.
same here; we'll be buying most of the camping equipment there if we go. we don't own any to begin with so buying it there isn't too crazy an idea. you guys are lucky you already have transportation there pretty much figured out. i wonder if there are other people from houston that'll be there...
If you can get there without a vehicle, camping is free.
I have not heard many stories about picking up rides on Craigslist or whatever, but if you can pull it off, all the power to you.
thanks. yeah, i've never been this disorganized with planning something before, but really wanted to go to the fest. if need be, the worse thing we'll do is find someone to share a car rental with. say no to hitching.
