you don't have to read every thread, y'know. I don't. I think most of us don't. If you keep your usual/few favorite topics close by, you won't feel as though you're missing out on topics or feel overwhelmed.

I'm excited about it too because I've never been to Madison Square Garden either. They're going to put on a kick ass show. Fur reels.

Chucks. I wore my worn out lowtops on the last day. Make sure you're willing to replace them after the fest because
A- They'll smell like musty nasty grossness (as well as your feet) B- They'll get really dirty--especially if you plan on wearing them the entire time
Also, if you're sporting the lowtops without socks, they WILL rub your heel raw. And depending on how much walking you'll do, your feet may still be crying even with socks on.

The real truth is that we were flying kites when they took that picture. DUDE! Such a good idea, Stormy!! I totally want to bring a kite to the fest!

clarenceo, thanks for the reply! last time i checked, i wasn't a serial murderer so i think you're safe. People who need to routinely reassure themselves that they are NOT a Serial Killer, may in fact be a Serial Killer. Ha! Truth.

I would've totally chosen Delirium had you not posted it, but I've got two more I've found overrated-- Stoudt's Scarlet Lady isn't exactly overrated, per se, but I had higher expectations for it. I couldn't finish it. It almost tasted soapy. and I may lose some cool points for this, but I've been repeatedly disappointed by anything I've tried by Bell's Brewery. I am glad other people have found a beer they like by them, but I guess I need to keep trying. I ventured out and tried their Cherry Stout. First mistake. Then I tried their kalamazoo stout. It was far from exciting and lacked the body I enjoy in a stout. Their IPA is okay at best, but I'm also a tough sell on IPAs. Their Best Brown Ale isn't bad, but I'd rather spend my $6/pint on something tastier.

That's the worst part. heat sucks, sure, but its the damn humidity gets ya. The south and midwest have plenty to spare if you want some ;-) And in other girly thread related news, I found this horribly bad instructional video on a girl's guide to surviving music festivals. I didn't find it all too helpful, since I'm a sophomoric fester, but it may be helpful for first timers to get inspired by: veevr.com/videos/LlHZ4rzjDespite what they say, I think rainboots are a terrible idea. I've gone through several cute pairs over the years that I use for rainy days. Your feet will get wayyy too sweaty in there and the rubber will more than likely crack from all of the walking you will do. They may be cute to wear for half of a day or so, but I think at a festival like Sasquatch where you can't go in and out to your camp site, rainboots shouldn't be a staple for footwear. Hope the video helps some of the newcomers

Pea, was it you that said you might get some chipotle tobasco? No, no, no. Chipotle Cholula is where its at. Tobasco is too vinegary. This stuff, however, is the shizzzzzzz. And in an attempt to sway back onto topic, I had some tasty Atwater Vanilla Java Porters last night. Beer advocate doesn't speak highly of this tasty beer, but if you can get your hands on it, I say you should!

I will make an abundance of Sasquatch energy bars for all of my boarding pals. They are now officially called, "Sasquatch Energy Board-Bars." The secret ingredient is Sasquatch. Ahh! You rock! I want to definitely try making them with the recipe you posted, but I'll let you bring them to the fest! Something tells me it'll take a while to perfect. I wish I could make/bring something, but logistics make it difficult since I can't really bring food with me on the plane and won't have a kitchen to concoct anything in. Too bad we can't do a pot-luck, because I've heard too many great things about your chili, too!

For the record--86 days 'til Sasquatch! But, who is counting anyway Ahhhh! I am so excited it is ridiculous. Me too. My job has become a joke since I've become more active on the boards and am counting the days til the festival. I'm sooo going to get fired for A) Not getting my work done because I've been sitting on the boards all day B) I'm not getting my work done b'cause I'm doodling pictures of a furry fantasy woodland creature and checking off days on my calendar, or C) because I'm spending more time looking up hotel rates, shoes for the fest, clothes for the fest, camp gear, things to do in Seattle, or I'm looking up worthy memes to post. ...or all of the above. ew. My post count is 666.
