I asked boys how to do sasquatch right last year, and they just said "Beer". . ...sounds about right.

Anyway, not like I can produce the proof but just so it doesn't sound like I'm COMPLETELY pulling this out of my ass -- my source on this was an old issue of Fangoria where they had a little sidebar interview with the guy. This was around the time Heavenly Creatures was released, probably. Edit: No, considering Heavenly Creatures pre-dates LOTR, this was probably around the time Fellowship was released. then did Timothy Balme play the orc that Sam killed with sting in Return of the King? - cuz that dude was totally the same guy as the orc you're talking about. same face. same voice. everything.

The actor who portrayed this particular Orc is kind of Peter Jackson's Bruce Campbell. He played the lead in Dead AliveReally? Or are you pulling a classic board 'Wrong Kid Died' moment on us? I'm not doubting that he and Peter Jackson are friends, but I really don't think Timothy Balme has appeared in any movie Jackson made since Dead Alive.

Hah! I was raised by parents from the midwest, and then slowly started calling it soda in my young adult life. Nowadays I switch back and forth depending on the crowd. And since this board is mostly Canadians you went with pop. (FYI stamps most Canadians call it pop) that makes sense, Canada is basically the midwest anyway.

I also find that diet drinks aren't even worth drinking. I might drink 1 pop a month (if that) I had no idea 'pop' was used in any region outside of the midwest.

new stuff I've been playing a lot: White Rabbits - Milk Famous (way better than It's Frightening) Brilliant! I didn't even know this was out yet. I loved It's Frightening. So far I've only listened to two albums this year, fortunately I really like them both! 1. Andrew Bird - Break it Yourself - I think I like this album much more than his last one. It's still a long way from Armchair Apocrypha, however. 2. Fanfarlo - Rooms Filled with Light - I don't think it's as strong as their debut, but I really like the funky sounds and experimental stuff they're doing. Also, I really like that this has kind of an 80s feel to it.

Aww shit! Totally just bought Catherine and I nosebleed tickets for her Atlanta show in November. $60 each. We might need binoculars to see the stage, but it's still gonna be awesome.
