Gary Busey was just on one of the local bottom-of-the-barrel rock stations inbetween a rock block of Evanescence and the new Marilyn Manson song. Is there a level a person can go below rock bottom? There's a new Marilyn Manson song? Oh yes, and it's about as terrible as you would expect it to be.

Sorta unrelated, but I had to do this to a mother who was acting like a total shithead in front of her poor children right before Foo Fighters last year. I legitimately almost got into a fist fight with this clown. But she was well within her rights though, with stamper kicking her child in the face and all. That's just what I heard though. i mean, children do rank right up there with kitties. AMIRITE?! ;D

I just grabbed Pitchfork tickets in case anyone needed more evidence to reinforce my stereotype. Anyone else going to try to make it this year? ha! I would like to go Pitchfork one year, but this year's lineup does very little for me. Maybe next year. have a good time, though!

I still haven't seen that video yet - but with how frequently the media have been covering every little detail about it this week, I'm not sure I really need to see it.

Project X was actually really awesome. Sigh. I hate that Hollywood made a new movie with that title... every time I hear someone mention that name, I assume they're talking about the old Matthew Broderick Air Force film with all the chimpanzees, but they aren't. But they aren't.

haha, yeah I know, for some reason I'm REALLY FUCKING EXCITED today and I just want everything planned RIGHT NOW. Yeah, so my ticket arrives today - and I think I'm feeling like how you did yesterday! I totally am not in the mood to do any work today. It's a sunny 70 degrees and all I want to do is sit on my porch, down a couple shots of Redbreast, listen to my coachella mixes and map out my california weekend!

So you Sasquatch vets think maybe shes out? If so do they normally replace bigger drops like that with decent names? Yeah, I dunno about that one. Of course all we can do is speculate at this point, but IF she dropped off the list - I'd like to think they would try to find someone somewhat big to replace her. But again, until she's actually removed from the website let's not start worrying about that scenario.

also... apparently German wonder-striker Lukas Podolski will be purchased by Arsenal during the summer transfer! That could be a massive signing for the Gunners! Wonder striker is a bit of a stretch. He has never played near his full potential at club level... Wonder striker is more than a bit of a stretch... up until this season, the dude has been downright dreadful at club level. I was mostly tossing sarcasm around in a thread that nobody really reads anyway. I forgot that we have a couple newbies that actually follow the sport. You'll soon learn that despite my extreme love of everything Arsenal, I'm also a realist and have accepted that Arsene Wenger has completely lost his mind and is incapable of restoring Arsenal to the squad it once was in the early 00s.

For being their first competitive match in over 4 months, after losing 9 players and replacing them with 9 new ones, and for playing against one of the top teams in the Mexican premiere league, I'm damn happy with the result. Going into the next match with a 2-1 lead in the series is definitely doable, but the home/away aggregate rule makes me nervous. If they win 1-0 then they advance and we lose out, so we absolutely have to score at least one goal if they go up one goal on us next week. It's going to be a really difficult match, especially playing on their home turf, but this new Sounders squad is VERY exciting and I'm extremely satisfied with the new additions so far. I'd like to see Eddie Johnson get some more playing time next week though. We didn't really get a good look at what he has to offer yet. The away goal rule in aggregates can get REALLY frustrating when it goes against your team... I'm lucky, Arsenal haven't had to deal with this in recent years - mostly because we just end up getting knocked out of the tournament by goal differential. *sigh* Still, congrats on your win... hopefully, you pull out at least a 1-1 result in the 2nd leg of this round.
