I'm not sure if I like the new album just yet, but I'm relieved that Sigur Ros are using drums again...

Seeing that May is probably out for me, this second weekend opens a world of possibilities. I, for one, love the idea of having an April Coachella and July Sasquatch. I might just make it back to the Gorge next year!

The show really is at its best when it rips your heart to shreds.

Yeah, I'm not entirely sure I'm gonna do the presale for next Coachella. I'll still probably go, but I think I'm gonna wait it out and see who's actually on the bill before committing myself again.

I wanna go back to talking about the new Vampire Weekend album for a second...
I can't get enough of it. For me it's their best album to date - and it's probably the best album I've heard all year.

Please add: Noah and the Whale - Heart of Nowhere It's like they took a course in Brat Pack 101, and I can't love it more. This might end up in my top 10 for the year. Perfect pop album. Agreed. Add that shit for me too! Great album.

I must be the only person on the internet who thought the album was forgettable and mostly boring. Sigh. Oh wait, I found one FB friend who agrees, so now there are 2 of us on the entire internet who think it's boring. Make that 3. I thought it was alright after the first listen. I don't hate it. But I definitely don't love it. Not yet, at least.

Wow. I'm really excited about this lineup. It's a little top heavy, but I'm sure there are tons of bands lower down that I'll discover and really enjoy. Either way. LIONEL MOTHERFUCKING RICHIE!!!! Yeah, if you're interested in coming, lemme know. We can discuss couch squatting. My apartment is not too far of a walk from the festival gates

There's a better shot of Daft Punk playing Coachella next year than Primal Scream.

Isn't it a well known fact that The Stone Roses are shit live, particularly vocally? Not a jab, just curious if that's common knowledge. Stone Roses were one of the highlights of the weekend. Sure the lead singer is a train wreck, and continually told the crowd, "fuck you," but that guitarist dominated the festival. So smooth. Agreed. Stone Roses were amazing. Their crowd size, however, was definitely not.
