The "big surprises," could easily just be the new late night sets (2010) and the 4th day (2011). I personally hope there is more to it than that, but going into it with those expectations is pretty safe.

Would be awesome, but I think Chemical Brothers are too big for a late night show, no?

Yea they played Phantogram 5 minutes later. That show was fucking stupid. What a fun way to spend Friday night sick at home. I would reccomend the british version though, since it's fucking awesome. LOVE the Brisitsh version. The MTV version on the other hand, is a straight up debacle (no surprises there).

They're not coming. I emailed them back when they sent their tour dates. I asked if the seattle date meant no Sasquatch and the answer was "... afraid so. Sorry!". World crushed. That's very disappointing. They would have been so fun at mainstage for sunset, or as a late night. I appreciate you finding out though, better I find this out sooner than later.

^^ My thoughts exactly, it is saying that they will play at some point during the festival, not specifying Friday. At least I hope so

Yeah, they've only played shows in LA and NYC, I believe two nights in each last summer. In fact they sold out two nights in one NYC's bigger venues and the tickets were in high demand, so seeing them in a bar for $11 is not gonna happen. Oh yeah there was their Lolla late night set too. For the same reason the beloved Sasquatch blog points out that Cut Copy is likely...
...EotS playing Coachella also increases their likelihood of playing at Sasquatch.

Summer Camp in Illinois is happening the same weekend as Sasquatch, as per usual. While it's certainly not as big of a contender for bands as Primavera (genre and proximity), I'd still say some of the bands on this lineup are less likely to play Sasquatch.

I feel like I just tore up a picture of the pope in front of a catholic. I edited the definition above to be more sympathetic to those who were offended by the initial definition. As a token of my remorse, I'll buy you all a box of glow sticks. Truce? Works for me

Does anyone have a good dubstep definition for HG, because I sure can't define It. Dubstep(dʌbˌstɛp) -nounA term used by rave kids to refer to a specific genre of electronic music that is heavy in bass, because if this world is missing anything, it's specific genres of electronic music. Using the term "dubstep," is more like saying, "I know electronic music, and you don't." If your musical selections includes less than 85% electronic music, you really don't know what dubstep is, and you are old enough to buy beer. Now that right there is a selfing if I ever saw one

You should check out his BBC Essential mix. It's what got me really into Flying Lotus. www.sendspace.com/file/6wvjxzThis is pre-Cosmogramma, mind you.
